Fixed key repeats - 5 stars now
I got the black ROG falchion 65% NX red for about $100. I should have got something with function keys, I miss those greatly, especially in SC2. I like the RGB options for night use to see the keys. The keystrokes feel crisp, fast. Quality seems decent. I really only have two complaints; but one is really bad. First my left pinky is always accidentally hitting the slider, that needs to go somewhere else (not my finger). I installed the notorious armory crate and miraculously it worked so in there I changed the slider to tapping the top and bottom, that's not so bad. But the worst is the keys repeating. Several times per day keys will start repeating, many times. I'd be getting killed in games, spinning in circles, typing jibbbbbberish in chats or backspacing huge chunks of text away. Super annoying. EDIT I took a usb extension from my pc with the dongle on the end so it was closer to where I sit with the keyboard and the key repeating issue went away 100%. Apparently 9ft was too far, its more like 4ft now. The keyboard is beautiful and works flawlessly, even armory crate is working with no issues. I just wish I'd have gotten the bigger 75% version with the function keys, 65% is missing too much to make it versatile, but that's my mistake. I tried a logitech MX mechanical mini, with function keys, but the backlight turns off all the time and can't be adjusted so it sucks using it for gaming at night. Do not by that keyboard if you want to game with it at night. Read about the backlight issue if you don't believe me.

Great hardware, bad software.
First impressions are that its a great piece of hardware. The keycaps are nicely textured and have a great sound to them. The RGB lighting is vibrant and can reproduce custom colors fairly well. Ive had RGB gear in the past that was really just 5-7 real colors with some contrast changes in between with no real gradient. You dont get any nonsense with this. The battery so far has not run out on me. I think Ill be waiting a while to get an actual benchmark out of it. Lol. The bad? I dont necessarily mind installing the armory crate software but ASUS makes it really clunky to use and difficult to find customization options. ASUS assumes you understand its logos and mostly use its ecosystem so you have to navigate quite a bit to make the keyboard useful. On top of that its pretty bloated. And on occasion I find myself bumping the volume bar with my pinky, although I guess Ill adapt to that with time.

High-Quality Keyboard with Outstanding Features
The ASUS ROG Falchion NX is undoubtedly one of the best keyboards I've had the chance to use. The double-shot keycaps are robust and well-constructed, and the overall design of the keyboard is solid and weighty, which speaks volumes about its quality. The switches provide a good feel and lubrication, making the typing experience enjoyable. Furthermore, the stabilizer bars for the larger keys perform wonderfully. In summary, this is a keyboard I would recommend for its quality and functionality.

Compact Gaming Keyboard
This 65% compact gaming keyboard is sleek with its aluminum frame making it feel more premium. The RGB lighting, customizable via ASUS's intuitive software, adds a mesmerizing glow that perfectly complements any gaming setup. The inclusion of hot-swappable mechanical switches is a game-changer, allowing me to switch out the switches easily and find the one that best suits my typing and gaming preferences. Despite its compact size, they have managed to retain all the essential keys without compromising functionality such as the inclusion of dedicated arrow keys which I NEED. The Falchion supports both Bluetooth and 2.4GHz wireless modes, and I experienced no noticeable lag or input delay during gaming or regular use. The battery life is impressive, offering hours of uninterrupted gaming on a single charge. When it's time to recharge, the USB Type-C is FAST. The inclusion of a cover, which doubles as a stand, adds to its portability and protects the keys from dust and spills during travel.

Good keyboard but initially had issues
I had a 60% keyboard but didn't realize how much I needed the arrow keys. Generally I frown on OEM switches as they feel terrible. However these ASUS switches are great! They feel incredibly smooth. Especially comparing against their brand name counterpart. It's a treat for your fingers and senses. Not much to say. It's a standard compact wireless keyboard. However it does NOT support Bluetooth. So don't lose that dongle! Admittedly, I assumed it came with it standard. I was surprised when it did not. The 1 star off was because the battery stopped charging at 50% initially. Even when plugged in for hours. After I performed a firmware upgrade and left it in for several more hours, did it charge fully. Apparently the keyboards not charging properly is a common issue and a firmware update sometimes resolves it. The keyboard top cover is nice but you can't just pull it off in a traditional sense. There are two open spots on the sides and you need to push on them to get it to pop out. That was definitely annoying.

Broken Waste
I wanted a smaller keyboard to save some desk space, replacing my much bigger keyboard with a numpad and extra buttons. I am not used to the size and spacing of the keys yet, but I do appreciate the small size of the keyboard. - Box and packaging are very nice and appreciated. - The ability to go wired or wireless is much appreciated. Currently I am only wired, no thoughts on wireless usage just yet. - Lighting options are good, better customizability would be nice but the lighting options are sufficient. - Texture on the key caps I am not used to, feels like there's a little dust or dirt. I am used to flat smooth keys, but the texture isn't bad. - Pressing the keys feels nice, smooth with a small amount of resistance. I wish it took a little more pressure to trigger the keys because sometimes my fingers rest a little heavy and I accidentally press a key. - The sound is alright, I would've liked something a little quieter and lower pitch. The spacebar sounds different to all the other keys, it is a different sound and possibly louder. - The protective bottom case I wish attached better. Holding only the case allows the keyboard to slip out if I'm not applying pressure on the sides. - The sound control on the side is not sensitive enough, I would've preferred buttons or a scroll wheel over touch sense. Update: So after some time using this I've run into an issue with the "L" key. At first I figured I was just not used to typing with the new layout, but now I'm starting to think the key is just broken. Very often when I press the L key it will either output multiple times (for example if I wanted to type "Lovely" I'd get "Llovellly" instead") or not output at all (for example instead of "Lovely" I'd get "Lovey" or "Ovely" or maybe even "Ovey"). I'm sure it's this specific key because I have no issues with other keys, at least as far as I can tell. Very much doubt it's me that caused this since I treat the keyboard the exact same as the one it replaced and that one never had this issue. Update 2: Tried to RMA it. ASUS identifies it correctly through the serial number, then tells me the serial number is incorrect, then tells me I need the serial number to continue (which I've already given them), then tells me it's within warranty but won't allow me to RMA it. Update 3: I hate this keyboard. Size is great, quality is fine, lights and customizability is cool. But I have to constantly deal with loud ass keys, broken keys, and random crap turning on and off that I can't fix every god damn day.

Small but Functional
This is the first smaller keyboard I've ever used. I got it for my laptop. And after using it with my laptop I decided I needed to get another one for my desktop that hooked up to my TV. I really like it. The battery lasts a very long time. If you have the RGB turned off and still less a pretty decent amount of time if the RGB is on the lowest setting. The lights on the keyboard will shut off when not in use and kind of like a sleep mode after about 5 minutes. So is to not waste your battery. And one of my favorite things about this keyboard is the battery indicator light bar that's on the side of it. It also comes with a touch bar right below the battery indicator so you can control volume or multimedia. It's pretty cool but you have to remember it's there or else you kind of hit it all the time on accident. Another great feature that I really like is the case cover type thing it comes with. That way you can put the cover over the keys and just slip it into your backpack and be ready to roll. You don't have to worry about stuff getting into the keys or your keys getting caught on something in your backpack.
