Forge TSA Approved Luggage Locks, TSA Open Alert Cable Lock, Black, 2 Pack

I used these locks on a recent vacation and, for the money, they worked out just fine ... did everything I expected them to do. So good value for the money spent. These locks, of course, aren't going to keep anyone from breaking into my luggage if they really wanted to, but that really isn't the reason I used them. I've had TSA going through my luggage before, and I'm sure they will again, and I wanted an easy, non-destructive way for them to gain access ... and for me to know, for certain, when they went through my luggage. The construction is decent enough, for this type of a 'cable' lock. The 'cables' are flexible enough to be used easily and work well and can adjust to the pulls I used them on. The combination feature is easy to set, and easy to open (though it might be a little more difficult for people who have some mobility issues in their hands as the buttons are somewhat small). The color is okay, the black version is fine, though not a major concern of mine. Overall, for the price, a nice little extra to have around for vacation time.

Great lock! It was easy to program and feels quite sturdy. No slight against the lock but buyers should be forewarned that the lock is not able to fit a good number of zipper holes. I purchased the lock for an upcoming excursion out of the country and found that the part that is to go through the zipper hole and then click into the lock did not fit. After reading other reviews I found this to be an issue with others. For the record and consideration of other buyers, the luggage was standard and brand-new Samsonite set. So, it wasn't inconsistent with updated luggage/zippers. Order early enough to allow for a return or adjustments if needed. Rating of the actual product remains a five.

I've never used cable locks like this before, always the thick solid latching ones. These were far less heavy than those, compact too, and the cables fit through zippers and tight spaces giving more options of places to loop around. It was easy to change the combination and use off and on frequently during travels.

Great value, used them for our Disney trip. Super easy to set up and use. Love the TSA feature.

These work great! Our kid had a summer camp and she wanted to be able to lock her bags so that other children couldn't have the option to snoop, etc. Easy to reset the combination and worked every time to unlock (It did not get stuck). Very happy with our order. Would absolutely buy again!

I'm going cross country and need a luggage lock. I bought a different one first from a different manufacturer. It came highly recommended by lock reviewers and one of the AI agents. I couldn't get that lock to accept a new code, and so I refunded it. I then bought a two pack of these because I still wasn't convinced that it would fit into the small holes on my zipper tabs. I have a strange back pack. It is made and sold by the Boss musical instrument company, and is designed to hold my pedal board. I have more zippers than locks. My biggest regret is not simply buying the 4 pack of these. Instructions were clear: This was the entire issue with the first lock. That lock came with a 4 image pantomime of what to do on the back of the package, and nothing was clearly explained. The dial numbers were loose and sloppy. This lock came with an instruction card that unfolded, and explained things easily. Setting the code was ridiculously easy. If you have a bad memory put the code in your secure files folder or something. Because, while you can change the code infinite times, it will always require the current set PIN. I think that this lock is as durable as it can be. If somebody takes a set of bolt cutters to it, it won't last long. But I bet you could run it over with your car for days and it would still work. It's black in color as the pictures show. The numbers are bright white. They click into place and don't feel sloppy, It has a decent weight for a small object. I would never buy a lock based on its looks, but the design team have made a nice looking product. Value for money is a little harder for me to quantify this time. The ONLY reason that I have to buy this lock, is because other people already have the keys to break into it and rifle through my stuff and potentially steal it. Like happened a few months back with that dude's Oscar. I don't find that to be a good value at all! But the price of these locks versus the perceived durability of them means that if I'm forced to buy more TSA locks in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to purchase from this country.

Very happy with the quality of these locks. They’re standard cable locks for something like a duffel bag or luggage bag. They’re standard cable feel substantial and have nice clicky dials. They’re code programming was very easy.

Sturdy locks, easy to use. Thanks for the extra security while traveling!

An excellent product that allows security to access a case wwithout damaging the case or lock. Worked very well during two months of travel in Europe.

I was impressed with the quality and flexibility of this product. It performed exceptionally well during my flights.

Muita qualidade

Brilliant locks, the best I've ever owned. I will only use these in future when travelling.

I ordered two locks, but received only one. That too without a key to reset the lock code. Do not buy.
