New brothread Multi-Purpose 100% Mercerized Cotton Threads-12 Bright Colors

I was very impressed with this thread because of the beautiful variegated shades, the quality, and the price point! The shades are beautiful and were just what I was looking for in the quilt shops but could not find. This selection is perfect for any fabric in your stash and they blend wonderfully in a printed fabric or a solid when you are using it for machine quilting. I really appreciate the thread securing component of each spool because it eliminates tangled thread without using ugly nets. Wrap the thread and snap the base of the spool in place to secure it! Easy! Note that this spool size will likely not fit a standard wooden thread spool rack because of the diameter of the bottom of the spool. You would likely need to invert every other spool to fit them in this type of rack. It was not an issue for me because I store these in my sewing machine chair compartment. The thread performed as well as more expensive brands such as Aurifil, but at a much cheaper price! Note the wt of the thread is 30. I plan to buy another set in solid colors because this thread performed so well! Threading, knot resistance and winding performance were all spot on. No need to hesitate on this purchase. You will be glad you did!

This is my second time buying these 100% cotton New brothreads threads and I am In LOVE with them. Last time I got a small set of 8 basic colors and this time I purchased the 24 classic color set. They are a great mix of colors for all the things I need to do. I go through a lot of red, blue and black because I work doing piece work for a local manufacturer of magic tricks that sells globally. I make a lot of specialty bags and handkerchiefs, and I install pockets and zippers on most of them. My work has to look professional and I like to have a lot of diffrent color thread on hand to do top stitching for whatever fabric I'm working with. These cotton threads are so vivid and beautiful. They run so smooth through my machine, just like butter. I have not had any breakage or shredded threads like I have with other brands in the past. I also like that they fit on my machines spool holder perfectly. I am really loving how neat and tidy these are by using the snap spools...they look so nice when i'm storing them on my spool rack. I have yet to find any quality thread at a better price then these. I installed 12 zippers last night and top stitched around them and didn't have ANY problems at all using these threads. They just made my projects look beautiful and professional. I'm really looking forward to my continued use of these and will be looking to purchase other sets in the future.

Wonderful verigated thread for quilting projects. Holds tightly to material and is beautifully colored. Large amount of thread for the money. Compatible with my Singer sewing machine, low shedding, and easy to work with because it doesn’t tangle. 100% recommend!

The colors in this New brothread set are absolutely beautiful in person. The pastels are soft yet vibrant and look great in finished projects. I have been using this thread for quilting and small pouch projects, and the quality has been excellent so far. The thread runs smoothly through my machine without tangling or producing excess lint, which makes sewing much easier and more enjoyable. Great value for money. Highly recommend. I have noticed that the thread will not take on natural dye colours - white excluded - no matter the mordant or tannin procedure or type. Doesnt break easily, and I am well satisfied with the choice of colours.
