Made in Switzerland, this is by far the best toothbrush I’ve ever used. The bristles are ultra-soft, yet they clean remarkably well. It’s gentle on the gums, comfortable to hold, and makes brushing a pleasure. I highly recommend it, simply the best!

I am skeptical of electric and sonic toothbrushes, because some preliminary studies seem to suggest the rapid brushing movements (with accidental too much habd force against the teeth) could be harmful to the surface of the tooth enamel. Because my dentist suspects they will eventually be clinically proven to put too much strain on the tooth enamel and hurt it over time, I have decided to switch back to a manual toothbrush. Every dentist I have ever been to since I was a child always told me: do not brush too hard, be cery very gentle when brushing near gums (can cause recession), and use the softest toothbursh possible. I have never even knew a toothbrush this soft even existed until my Mom got a sample at a medical conference and sent it to me. These CuraProx are Swiss made (!!) and are unbelivably soft. As a man, I like my brushes to be black, blue, or white and the 12460 Velvet brushes come in these specific colors you can select, which is perfect (CuraProx’s 2nd softest toithbrush line comes in crazy random colors per pack, like green and purple and I do not like that at all). These brushes also seem to last a very long time before I need to replace them, which is due to its insanely soft bristles. They feel almost like a camel’s hair or something, which is perfect for me, sticking to my dentist’s advice. I also have been told to use low-abraision toothpaste and brushing at night with a manual brush and low-abraisive toothpaste has helped me fall asleep faster (I noticed these strong-flavored, minty pastes seem to “wake my mouth” in the evening, if you know what I mean). For a Swiss-made wuality product of this softeners level and durability, I highly reccommend this brush!

For someone who doesn’t have insurance and can’t afford to go to the dentist, this has been a game changer because my gums have improved drastically with this paired with the Boka toothpaste alone.

I'm a dental hygienist. This is the softest toothbrush I have ever come across. My husband has very sensitive teeth. This is the only toothbrush he wants to use. It is very soft and gentle. I like the fun colors it comes in. I wish it was less boxy shaped. The bristles are cut flat across the top. I would prefer a toothbrush head that had bristles at different levels for reaching into the little gaps around your teeth easier. Because it is so soft I think it wears out a little faster than others, and you also have to brush a little longer to remove all the plaque. This would be especially good for those who: *Are going through chemo or radiation that causes tender gums. *Have dry mouth or sensitive teeth and gums. *Have a lot of recession areas of their gums. On the whole I would recommend if you need a really soft brush.

This is a very high quality toothbrush that will not hurt your gums even if you accidentally press too hard while brushing. It is engineered and made in Switzerland to be ergodynamic with a particular shape overall. It is easy to grip well without using hand pressue; it's made 'just right'. I bought the little Curaprox holder for a single toothbrush and just love the minimalism of the set. This is my 2nd Curaprox and I really like the 'velvet' type best for my sensitive gums (mostly from brushing way too hard as it is a bad habit for me, so this brush stops my bad habit!)

UPDATE 03-01-26 save the cap to keep the bristles straight ORIGINAL 02-25-26 at first i thought this was too soft but i learned to use baking soda and peroxide toothpaste on the weekends to add abrasive to get the stains but i am coming back to buy another one now it has held up surprisingly well considering how soft it is yes some of the bristles deformed but the majority of it would just bounce back

Sie ist mit Abstand die weichste Bürste, die ich je verwendet habe. Sie ist perfekt für empfindliches Zahnfleisch und Zähne, und das Putzen fühlt sich sanft und dennoch effektiv an. Ideal für empfindliche Zähne: Sie reizt mein Zahnfleisch nicht und sorgt dennoch für strahlend saubere Zähne. Man hat wirklich das Gefühl, dass sie sich um meinen Mund kümmert und nicht nur Plaque entfernt. Komfortabler Griff: Sie ist leicht, rutschfest und liegt gut in der Hand, wodurch sich das Zähneputzen angenehmer und präziser anfühlt. Sie ist so angenehm in der Anwendung, dass ich mich jeden Tag auf das Zähneputzen freue. Nachteile: Höherer Preis: Der einzige Nachteil, den ich nennen kann, ist der Preis. Angesichts der deutlich besseren Handhabung im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Zahnbürsten lohnt sich die Investition meiner Meinung nach jedoch, wenn Sie empfindliche Zähne oder Zahnfleisch haben.
