How does this screen protector feel? I'm accustomed to tempered glass and like the slick feel. Is this tacky or resistant?

They are definitely not tempered glass. I've had mine on for about a week now and I don't even notice it is there. It's for sure more of a fell stye, you could score it with your fingernail if you wanted to, but it does not feel sticky or tacky. I think this screen protector is better suited for protecting from scratches as opposed to blunt force

Does this rear camera protector have a hole for the microphone?

How does this fare with an otterbox defender?

They work perfectly with an Otter Box Defender, that's what I have. I really think for the money these are great screen protectors.

What is yhe difference between clear and transparent?

This case/protection is excellent and is CLEAR. It also shows almost NO fingerprints. The best I have ever had and I am a grandma.
