Amazed how great this stand is.
Yes, it slides around on paper. Yes I have a case on my phone and it works great, I can even angle the phone towards the front of the "shelf" if I'm typing text and have no issue reaching the very bottom of the screen. I may have to get a second one now for the kitchen. I no longer have to remember the measurements of ingredients when cooking. It works great with the phone on my desk or the kitchen even the garage. I will slide around when you type on the screen I have it backed up to a heavier object.

Works fine
If you have an Otter over you may find this isn't as secure as you might want but fine for desk use. Sometimes find phone slips around a bit. Thinking of adding a small Velcro dot to secure.

Perfect
I have one for home and one for work. This is the best one I've found. I have a pop socket wallet on the back of my phone and I can actually sit this on it without it falling off.

When charging you have to maneuver the cord around. I would not buy again.
It’s ok.
