In my opinion, this is one of the best whey protein isolates on the market. What makes it stand out is how neutral and clean it is, it truly does not alter the flavor of anything you mix it with. I use it with fresh and frozen fruits, coffee, milk, smoothies, and other recipes, and it blends perfectly without changing the taste. The solubility is excellent, with no clumps, and the texture stays smooth and pleasant. I also appreciate that the odor is very mild compared to many other protein powders. I love this protein powder. I thought not having sweetener added would be a bummer but it works great. I use it to make protein cookies. I use one stick of butter, one egg, half a cup brown sugar, one and a half cups of this protein powder, 1/2 a cup of flour, 1 teaspoon vanilla. They come out great and the taste is just the unflavored powder just tastes a little bit like milk and maybe cardboard if you think about it. Not unpleasant though. Great stuff and the best part is because it’s isolate. It doesn’t cause any gas. The stuff is pure and has great powder texture.

This is a great whey isolate if you’re focused on protein without extra calories. The protein‑to‑calorie ratio is excellent, and the cost per gram of protein is hard to beat. Being unflavored, it mixes very well with just water and doesn’t have any weird taste. Solid option for everyday use.

Seems quite good, avoids excess sugar, good mixed with your own cocoa and flavorings to taste, "Isolate" is better than "Concentrate" if you wish to avoid excess fat and perhaps receive a little less sugar (lactose), decent price, palatable enough, dissolves quite well in 6 oz cold milk in a blender (but don't put it in hot beverages like hot coffee, it curdles). Nutricost website says, "Made in a GMP Compliant, FDA Registered Facility", but this statement falls short and isn't very reassuring, it would be nice to be able to read the actual chemical analysis performed by an independent reputable lab such as USP, this is always a concern. For instance, what is the actual measured heavy metal and lead concentration? The disclaimer "Do not use for weight reduction" is puzzling and a bit CYA, since this whey animal protein presumably has a full complement of amino acids, and undoubtedly many folks including myself are using it to boost protein intake while taking GLP-1 agonists and limiting calories. Thus we have to take some of this on faith, never a fully comfortable undertaking for something we ingest daily.

The first time i bought this the price was around $74.00. When I went to reorder it, the price had jumped to $98.00. I thought it was just a routine a price increase so I passed. It isn’t worth $98.00 by any means. A short while later my fiancé checked the price and told me it went back down. I had a suspicion that something was up so I checked the price on my account and there it was again, $98.00. It looks to me like you’ll be charged 33% more when you go to reorder. There’s something about that that rubs me the wrong way. Aside from that, I found it to have the powdery flavor that people try to avoid in a protein mix. At $74.00 it’s worth it but at 33% more, it’s not.

A decent WPI, unflavored tastes neutral as expected, but doesn't seem to mix as well as others, seems a little grainy, it gets very "foamy" after blending. I would say a close second but acceptable replacement to My Protein. But if the price keeps going up I'm going back to My Protein. A word on the price: Welcome to dynamic pricing folks. There's no need for the price of an item already manufactured, boxed, sitting on the shelve product to change prices DAILY. This is what we have to get used to now. It's not just oil, but everything is now a global commodity, and we can expect prices to change daily, or even faster to whatever the market will bear in order to maximize profits. And it's not just online, it's in brick & motor stores, supermarkets, fast food restaurants, everywhere. Be prepared to more than ever for everything.

Mixes well. Taste wise is not that good in comparison to another unflavored brand I tried. But still its good. Expiry is 2 1/2 years.
