I love this camera! It is so easy to use! I plug it right into my laptop and it does not require any special software to use, just access to the camera on my laptop. I take this to all my art classes that I teach, making it easy to demo and show step by step instructions to my classes. There is an auto focus button on the top and a built in light which is very nice. Also there are options to flip the picture to left, right, up or down. When it is not in use it folds up compactly and fits right back into the box for easy storage and safe travel. This is a great camera at such a reasonable price.

I love this product so much! I bought this in 2023 during my first year of teaching and it has lasted me for such a long time! Worth the price!

I love the camera. I watched the Youtube video to set it up on my Mac but it didn’t work because the adapter that came with it for the C port on my computer did not work. I tried another one I had and it worked. If I didn’t have one, I would have returned it because I thought it didn’t work. Wish it came with a working adapter.

This document camera works great for online teaching and presentations. The 4K image is clear and detailed, while the adjustable LED lights provide excellent visibility. It folds easily for storage and is simple to connect and use with my computer.

This has been good for online recordings and teaching sessions over Zoom. The microphone quality is not good, but that's to be expected of a typical document camera. The camera is very easy to maneuver and plug into the computer, and the controls are very intuitive. I'd recommend this to people who need a lightweight document camera.

I was excited to see this product when I was looking for a second doc cam recently. It is half the price of the one I had previously, but it performs just as well. I've used it for teaching online for a month. I like the fact that it has an included light to illuminate the desk, which helps eliminate the shadow from the camera due to my overhead light. Image quality is sharp. It functions well with the doc cam software that I have. Construction is solid. It's a little bulkier than others I've seen, but this also means it is sturdier and I find that it really doesn't clutter my desktop significantly because the weighted base is quite small, while still heavy enough to keep it stable. The camera swivels 180 degrees horizontally plus has built in electronic flip and rotation. It also allows me to point the camera easily at different places on the desk by swiveling in the vertical plane, a feature my previous doc cam doesn't have. There are buttons for autofocus and to adjust brightness. Has a USB-A plug and comes with an adapter for USB-C. I'd say this is a definite improvement over my previous doc cam (even though I didn't have any complaints about it previously either). A thoughtful feature is inclusion of a screwdriver in the base to tighten the joints, although so far I haven't need to use it. Overall, the design of this unit seems to be very carefully thought through, and I highly recommend it.

tl'dr - I wouldn't buy it again, but I'm using it and not planning to send it back. I bought it to scan receipts. The pros and cons (for me) are: -- Camera quality: the optical sensor is, at best, ok. When I take pictures of receipts, the lettering isn't always clear, despite the best efforts of the autofocus button. -- Lack of software. It relies on the camera and picture editing software that came with my computer. In a sense, this is a plus since I didn't have to install anything, but it's also a minus since I have to open MS Paint to rotate and crop the images. It would be really nice if it auto-sensed document boundaries and proposed cropping the pictures automatically. -- Light. The LED light that comes with it could be brighter. -- Glare. If the LED light was brighter, glare might quickly become a problem. If I have plenty of ambient light in the room (daytime, near a window, light from multiple directions), glare hasn't been a problem. But if it's after 5pm and ambient lighting is low and I'm trying to add task lighting to get the sensor to pick up lettering better, it's tricky to avoid glare.

Works well for showing worksheets and books on the computer. The camera is easy to adjust, and the built-in light helps when the room is a little dark.

Bought to replace my scanner when a Windows 11 update caused it not to work. Easy to get going, plug into pc and open the Camera app (you will need to switch camera by pressing the button below the X close button in the top right, if your pc has a built in webcam). Once you’ve set it to the unit, Windows uses it as the default. I’ve set mine up to take a picture of a full A4 sheet in landscape mode. It’s tricky to get the arms at the right position so that the page is square on, but worth the effort. I recommend marking the position of the arms at the joints when you get it in the right position, so that if you knock it or fold it up, it is easy to reset. The built in light gives sufficient illumination and the controls to rotate/flip the image work but seem to reset when you turn the power off, meaning you have to press them again. The arm whilst sturdy can move slightly when pressing these flip/rotate buttons, hence another good reason to mark the position on the joints. If you can leave it in position permanently (like I have) it is a very simple job of placing the item under the camera and a single click and you have a picture instantly on screen to save/email/edit as desired. Not used as a webcam so can’t comment on this feature.

Für meine Zwecke (Liedtexte aus einem Buch und vom iPad an eine Leinwand projezieren) ausreichende Bildqualität. Das Gestell lässt sich sehr gut ausrichten, Ringlicht, Bildeinstellungen und Autofokus funktionieren zuverlässig. Man muss mit den Einstellungen ein Bisschen spielen, um ein optimales Ergebnis zu erhalten. Ich bin zufrieden. Der Preis ist für die gebotene Leistung sehr gut.

It works well if you have enough light in the room. The camera will focus on its own. But if you see it on PC monitor not very clear, you can try to refocus by press the button in the center. The image quality is so-so, well you don't need that high resolution anyway to read doc. The image pixel seems unnoticeably moves while reading, perhaps it is the nature of EV camera. You will forget about it after reading over 5 minutes. When you focus on book content, it is only a small minor thing. While other products have app to read the docs in which you could tune the image a bit. But not this one, and in my view, it is all right. Because when I read, I just want it to be very simple to use by launching your PC camera app, you are ready to read. But if you are sensitive to ISO, or changing it to warmer color etc, then you might have to think again.
