The coils hold back the ice very well, sturdy strainer
I bartend for a living and am working with strainers that are flimsy and don't hold back all the ice. These strainers are strong, don't bend, have a tight coil and allow a two stream pour for the perfect shots! I love them, so, I bought two, one for work and one for home.

The last Hawthorne strainer you'll ever need!
I bought this because I saw Greg from How To Drink using it, and thought my own strainer was substandard. This one is sturdy and easy to clean, and the spring is wound tightly enough to be perfect for doing what Hawthorne strainers are made for. The dual-pour thing is just icing on the cake, and looks super-cool when you're pouring. Overall, a solid choice for your home bar or kitchen.

Easily my favorite.
These are my personal favorite strainers not only because of the size of the paddle and quality spring, but mainly because they look like that heavy metal/rock index and pinky hand sign. 🤘 Hell yeah!
