A great story and a great rendition.
I love this story. I’ve seen four versions of the movie, and read the full novel. The classic comic takes me back to my teenagers when I first read it and enjoyed it. This is an excellent simplistic rendition of the story very close to the original plot with great illustrations. This version is just like the one I had as a kid.

Good start for kids to love the classics.
I remember reading Classics Illustrated a long time ago and loving all the fairy tales and classic stories. So you can imagine my joy to find out they are again available! Just received this and noticed that the whole comic book has been upgraded. Cover and paper now stronger and will last a long time. Some titles are also available in the Kindle format. Thank you.

A classic that all children should read.
This was a Christmas gift for a 9 year old boy. When he opened the package he certainly seemed excited when he read the title and then started flipping through the pages, so I assume it was a success when he read it. Why shouldn't it be?

Great buy
I am really happy to have had access to the comic books I read as a kid in the 70s and 80s. Thanks Amazon for making this available. I got this comic book for my 8 year old son who simply loves it. Now he is eager to read the actual book. Great way to trigger their curiosity and 'Classics Illustrated' should continue printing these works.
