Great product
A little of this metallic wax goes a surprisingly long way. It came out of the tube easily and spread smoothly. I used it on four dresser leg tips and the hardware from four dresser drawers, and I still have plenty left in the tube. The antique gold color gave the pieces a nice metallic finish without looking overly bright or yellow. The included applicator brushes worked okay for the small details, but they started tearing fairly quickly. I would recommend using a small paintbrush or a soft cloth for better control and easier application. Overall, I’m happy with the coverage and finish, especially for furniture hardware and small accent areas.

This stuff is amazing!
This stuff is so cool. I don’t know how I didn’t find out about it sooner. I was restoring multiple doors in my home that had old brass hinges and decided to use this instead of taking off all of the doors and changing hinges and re hanging. This works amazing and you only need a tiny bit. The little tube is more than enough coverage for multiple projects. It comes with little foam brushes but I used a small dense make up brush. You just apply a small amount and then wait a few hours and polish with a microfiber cloth. Looks like new! It does have a bit of a strong smell but it dries and fades really quickly.

This is a great product, have used before
I use this product a lot to change the appearance of my store bought masks. I also use them on my gothic/post-apocalyptic boots. I have been using this product for a few years now and I'm very happy with it. If you are new to using this product a little goes a very very long way. Only use it on the high points that you are wanting to accentuate. Remember it is easier to add more than take it off. There is no odor and is versatile for a lot of different applications. The color is true to what is the advertised and the durability is good.

Very Useful
Worked amazingly well. Remodeled 2 bath with all chrome or polished nickel fixtures. The brass colored door hardware really stuck out like a sore thumb. This product worked great to change color so it blended in much better. I put on two coats and buffed in between. Let sit 24 hours for each coat before buffing with a microfiber cloth. Didn't get shiny, but took any residue off. Not the same as changing the door hinges, but that is much more work and can be problematic. Recommend this product

Highway robbery
Great product The price is ridiculous and the size is even more ridiculous. Hobby Lobby or Michael's is way cheaper

Gave me my perfect brass chair
4.5 overall. I used it to turn black metal parts of a swivel chair to “brass” using the Gold Leaf color and the black underneath actually makes it look more aged which I ended up liking a lot. Pros: Dries fast. Love that there’s very little downtime. Cons: Dries fast. It dries so fast that it is a bit tricky to work with in larger expanses of material coverage. Unfortunately, it doesn’t do well if you just try to go over spotty areas on a second pass. Towards the end, I was able to counteract it by just applying more than I needed and working very very quickly with the brush. Stippling worked best to get the color on better and then quickly brushing over it to give it a more brushed look. The round brush in the set worked a lot better than using a cloth for application so I’m glad I decided to get the brush set during a flash deal. It does smell like varnish so if you’re working on a larger project, you should do it outside or in the garage. It worked both on the metal and the plastic parts of the chair to give it a cohesive look.

A Chic, Elevated Cabinet Refresh
I used Rub ’n Buff in Gold Leaf to update all of my kitchen cabinet knobs, and it completely transformed the space in the most subtle, beautiful way. I wanted to experiment with a warmer gold tone before committing to new antique brass hardware, and this was the perfect solution. A little truly goes a long way—I used less than a quarter of the tube for nearly 80 cabinet knobs. The finish gave everything a softer, more elevated look that instantly warmed up the kitchen without feeling heavy or overly shiny. It has that lived-in, chic feel that makes the space feel more intentional and layered. If you plan to use it long-term, I would recommend sealing it with Rust-Oleum Clear Satin to preserve the finish. It’s such an easy, high-impact update for such a small investment.
