KIWITATA 2X Classic SNES USB Controller for PC Gamings, Retro SNES Wired USB Game Emulator Controller for Windows XP 7 8 11 Mac Raspberry Pi

These have been quite nice. I have them for light use at my desk for games and streaming so I haven't seen the wires pull out or anything yet, but I can say that the button pushes feel just like the old set I have in the closet. I know some people say that the buttons are hard to push, but personally these are easier than my original SNES controllers that had some DPAD inputs that were so stiff that it felt like you might have to stand on them to get them to register. By comparison these are smooth and comfortable. All in all, very happy with the price and quality for might purposes.

I was skeptical because of the mixed reviews but decided to give these a try before I spent twice as much on more expensive options. Only had them a few days but so far so good. All the buttons work properly and there doesn't seem to be any delay whatsoever, Works fantastic with my Raspberry Pi.

Update as of 4-7-17: I had severe issues with the original 4 controllers, however Kiwitata contacted me and was willing to not only refund me, but send me 4 more controllers for the hassle. The new controllers are definitely better, but still a bit touchy. Thanks for the customer support. These guys stand behind their product, so give them a shot. --------------------------------------------- Original review: I did not have high hopes for these controllers, but was surprised at just how terrible my experience has been. I purchased two sets of two, so four controllers showed up today total. Now, this isn't my first rodeo with 3rd party controllers, so I expected stiff controls at first, but these are bad. Here's what I'm experiencing with each controller (by the way 4 of 4 controllers have an issue: 1st Controller: Right on the D-Pad requires The Hulk to press it before it's recognized, and when it does eventually break your thumb and work, it also causes you to move up. 2nd Controller: The Hulk better call She Hulk- The Start Button takes a lot of pressing to get it to function. 3rd Controller: Everything kind of works when it wants to.... that's not helpful. 4th controller: I just gave up at this point. One of the buttons didn't work. Oh, by the way, ALL of the control responses were super sluggish too. I'm afraid these just aren't going to cut it. These just aren't worth the time or money. I will be returning these. Bummer too; they gain one star for being super lightweight and arriving on time. That's something I guess.

I love these. They work with the kinhank pro system. They feel like legit controllers. The buttons and d pad feel good, not cheap. Highly recommend. I was worried because of the price but turned out they are great.

These SNES style controllers work great with my emulated SNES games on my PC. Really good response time. using these controllers takes me down memory lane to the time I'd play my SNES back in the 90's.

Are your old school NES and SNES gamea just too darn easy? Zelda II, Contra, Castlevania, Ninja Gaiden - are all of these titles a bunch of pushovers and you wished they were harder to beat? Looking for a way to truly challenge yourself by handicapping the controls? If so - then this product is for you! I have purchased two of these sets and all 4 controllers have the same issues. With all 4 of them, while moving left, the character will just stop moving. Link just stops running random while running through a corridor in Zelda II. In Zelda I, he just won't move left for a moment. You can move him left after he stops, but by then, you've already taken the hit. The other issue is the downward directional button. It does move downward,, but it randomly spins the player around. In Ninja Gaiden and Castlevania, you need to kneel and turn around quickly. Same for Conta. You'll kneel, but you do a 180, shooting, whipping, or slashing the wrong direction and taking damage. Fighting knights in Zelda II is unfair because any attack at the knight's legs may spin you away from him and he'll hit you. In Zelda I, the knights there require precision as they change direction quickly - you have to snag a quick hit and run. You'll get hit repeatedly when you attack the wrong direction several times against a large group of them. If you were looking for a "hard mode" for your childhood titles, pick these bad boys up and give the new challenge a try. For anyone else - these are cheap for a reason. They work somewhat, but not nearly well enough to bother buying.

I personally like more than my USB gamepad...the original colors are cool...little smaller than the original but you get used to it....sold as a two pack was cool for someone with no friends to vid with

Super good for emulators for snes games, I can't find any issues.

Kiwitata CS rapidly contacted me following the post of the initial review. They offered me to send me new controllers free of charge in place of the first set that doesn't meet my expectations. They shipped the new set rapidly and I try them upon reception to find that they are really better than the first one I received. The d-pad build is more robust, but at the same time the feeling is more smooth, no clunky sound anymore on the new set. Using them with Raspberry Pi 3 emulation was nice and precise, and as a Kodi remote I don't have to complain. These controllers are not perfect, but they are almost on part with other gamepad sold on Amazon for twice the price. Yes there is some better gamepad on the market, but they are way more expensive. In the end, this price for a pair of controllers that quality, you can't beat it. Best price for the buck vs very good quality level. Be advised that this updated review is for the Kiwitata gamepad with coloured buttons (red, yellow, green and blue), not for the purple ones. Kiwitata have a great CS, I appreciate it. L'envoi a été fait rapidement et j'ai essayé les nouveaux gamepad à leur réception. Juste en comparant les deux versions il est évident que la nouvelle (avec les boutons de couleurs rouge, jaune, vert et bleu) est plus solide et que le d-pad est plus stable tout en donnant une sensation plus douce, et sans faire de bruit douteux. L'utilisation des nouveaux gamepads sur un émulateur Raspberry Pi est correct et l'utilisation dans Kodi comme télécommande ne pose pas problème. Évidemment ces gamepads ne sont quand même pas parfaits, mais ils s'approchent beaucoup de gamepads de haute qualité vendu par d'autres fournisseurs pour le double du prix; il existe d'autres gamepads qui sont meilleurs, mais ils sont beaucoup plus cher. En fin de compte pour le niveau de qualité qui, est relativement très bon, des nouveaux gamepad, le rapport qualité prix est imbattable. Cette review a été mise à jour pour les nouveaux gamepads avec les boutons de couleurs, et ne s'applique pas aux gamepads avec les boutons lilas et violets. Kiwitata a un service à la clientèle très proactif, ce qui est apprécié.

These controllers were perfectly fine for the price. The D-pad is not the most precise so it makes the execution of precision-combos more difficult for fighting games but won't cause any grief, however, for platforming games. Otherwise, the buttons work and the response time is no worse than using high-dollar console controllers (Think PS or XBOX), latency issues are more likely to be from the actual emulation than the controllers. The build-quality is average with some plastic rubbing sounds but, the cables are sturdy and long enough. You can definitely buy a better SNES-style controller elsewhere on amazon but you have to spend more money. As they say though, you get what you pay for and that goes for this product as well. I am still satisfied though as it fulfills my needs perfectly for the types of games I play and everything works. The price to quality ratio is just right especially considering you get two controllers. If you must have the most precise controller possible for fighting games, spend more. Otherwise these will do just fine. If I were comparing it directly against competing products I would give it 3 stars but in terms of personal satisfaction, I give it 4.

These controllers work very nicely for the price they are sold for. All of the buttons are responsive and it fits in the hand like a normal SNES controller. I haven't had any issues with input lag. The start and select button require less pressure than my real SNES controllers, which is nice. This is a good deal if you're looking for two SNES usb controllers. This company also offers very good customer support and if you're having any issues with the product they'll sort it out with you very quickly. There's really no way to go wrong with these! The controllers are a bit lighter than a real SNES controller, but it does not affect gameplay at all, and it's actually something I kind of like about them. The wire for the controllers is not very long, so you won't be able to play from very far away from your console. Overall the controllers are good and the customer service is great, I would definitely recommend them

Works well. Now I can play SNES games on the PC. Works with NES games, too, but may need some getting used to. Doesn't not work well as a substitute for Game cube games.
