Pretty easy to set up, less money than the PD variant, feels very safe and secure. I just got it so I can't say for sure how durable it will be, but it feels solid and well designed

After using the first one of these I purchased, I then bought several more to keep on each of my camera bags. It clamps tightly and stays secure, is easy to get camera on and off. It can be difficult to get the clip itself on and off (so that it can stay in place once attached) and I’ve needed to use a tool to get the clip off, but I’ll take that over a looser connection that moves around.

As soon as you take this camera clip out of the packaging, it is very apparent, that the quality is excellent. It is easy to use and the back side (that would face your body) is rounded on all edges. I have mine on a PGYTech OneMo2 35L camera bag and I couldn't love it more. I will say that the way they designed that bag, it attaches in front of the big padded strap, thus never touching against your body. A very nice design touch, HOWEVER, (very small caveat) the strap that it does attach to allows it to move a little, even on tightest. Not worth removing a star at all, as I feel like that is kind of a circumstantial situation. I would HIGHLY highly highly recommend this camera quick release for your backpack (and the PGYTech OneMo 2 bag).I read all the reviews before buying, like you, so trust me, I know you need to hear this, GET THIS ONE.

Received my PGYTECH Beetle Camera Clip today and paired it with another item I purchased to mount my iPhone 12 Pro Max to my backpack.The quick release plate was easy enough to remove as well as tighten with the provided tool in the box. The clip itself is extremely sturdy as it's made of metal and has three clamp levels so you can make sure it can fit your backpack straps. Once it was on there I tried it on walking around with my laptop and a few other items in my backpack. (You'll want to make sure that it sits nicely on the backpack straps as the clamp can feel like it's digging into your chest when you're making arm movements.)I found it difficult to remove the clip after I was done but because it was difficult to remove, I found that was actually a good thing. It kept my iPhone 12 Pro Max tightly in place and it's a great product. Only reason why I gave it a 4/5 value for the money is that it's still quite expensive. however, it's still a few dollars cheaper than the peak design 3.0 camera clip which is about $74.99.

Amazing camera clip system!I love using this clip system out on shoots when I don’t want to use an annoying strap system or have to set the camera down.In my application I use it on my hip/waistband. Mounted on a very firm belt on my waist.Pros: the system is very robust and well build. Lock switch mechanism is very strong. You can yank on the whole system and it will not move or come out. Lock and unlock is very smooth and secure. The base plate that attaches to your camera body is very stable and well built.Cons: the only potential failure point I see in the whole system is the very small metal bar that connects the clip to whatever attachment point you put it on. While mine is already starting to bend, I have seen cases in which the metal bar completely failed and broke in half. Long term durability and reliability is to be determined.Overall: the system is great, fast, slick and secure. For the price you pay it is worth giving it a try.However, if I lost or broke mine today I would be hard pressed to buy another or try out a different system.

Haven’t used it in the field, however you can tell it’s made with quality and durability in mind. I would be shocked if this ever has any issues

Super quick to attach to any backpack, keeps your camera safe from pickpockets. A must when traveling thru many European city centers.

Used this for our Costa Rica trip and it couldn’t have been better! It locks the camera on the clip while only letting you pull the camera up out of the clip (when attached correctly). The clip is super durable design giving you 3 options of strap thickness to attach it to. It gave us complete peace of mind that the camera was safe and won’t drop or fall off while still being easy access for quick photo opportunities. Great price especially for how safe we felt using it!

Ho acquistato questa piastra per avere un mezzo più comodo rispetto al classico strap per portare in giro la mia fotocamera, e devo dire che mi ha sorpreso.Tanto rapida quanto comoda da indossare, mi ha sorpreso quanto sia effettivamente solida e per la fotocamera non c'è modo di muoversi da lì.L'ho testata utilizzandola sia sulla cintura che sullo zaino, e in entrambi i casi, anche saltando, e correndo non ha mai dato il minimo segno di cedimento (ovviamente sono casi estremi, penso che nessuno voglia mettersi a correre avendo una fotocamera costosa e non proriamente leggera affrancata a se, però questo dimostra la solidità del prodotto).Ho anche usato questo prodotto, affrancandola allo zaino, in combinazione con una action cam; da una inquadratura simile ad una chest-mount, ma trovo sia più comodo se già ci si ritrova ad indossare uno zaino. Anche in questo caso, si è comportata egregiamente.L'unica critica che posso muovere al prodotto (ma non penso sia sufficiente ad abbassare il mio giudizio a 4 stelle), è che la parte posteriore avrebbe potuto essere in alluminio come il resto del corpo (invece è in plastica solida), però mi rendo conto che questa scelta è stata fatta probabilmente per poter mantenere il prezzo del prodotto competitivo.PGYTECH sempre una garanzia per rapporto qualità-prezzo

C’est sans doute l’un de mes gadgets préférés pour l’appareil photo, je dirais même un véritable must have. Au départ, j’étais un peu sceptique et prudent quant à sa solidité, mais après plus de deux ans d’utilisation, je peux affirmer en toute confiance que l’appareil ne risque pas de tomber ni de se détacher. La fiabilité est excellente.Le confort est également au rendez-vous : il ne gêne pas, ne fait pas mal et je le laisse très souvent fixé en permanence à mon sac à dos. Même après de longues randonnées de 15 à 20 km en montagne, je ne l’ai jamais trouvé inconfortable. Je lui donnerais une note de 8,5/10 sans hésiter.Autre avantage appréciable : il peut aussi être fixé sur une bandoulière de sac en bandoulière et reste tout aussi pratique et fonctionnel. Pour moi, c’est un accessoire qui simplifie vraiment la vie et que je recommande vivement.
