Battery powered? really? are you sure it's not powered by a gas engine? what kind of battery?

Uses an 18650 battery. I don't remember the amperage of the one that came with it.

How long does it take to charge the battery? Does the light on the charger turn red to green when charged?

It takes about 3-4 hours for the battery to be fully charged by the charger. The charger will display red during charging and green when fully charged.

Why didn't mine come with a battery and holster

It should have included a Battery,Holster and Charger.

I am unsure, I do not know, but I believe one can order parts directly from the flashlight manufacturer.
