Waited to review until I tried it twice. The manufacturer is almost anal in sending instructions both in the pkg and by email and perhaps it's best that way otherwise regular pan users would ignore the vital instructions. Don't turn the heat up over medium and actually low to medium low is going to do the job. Give it a couple minutes to heat up and you don't need oil...really. Use a soft pancake flipper and handwash with mild soap when fully cooled down. Towel dry and put away so it is not in contact with other pans to scratch it. That's the basics. Having said that, it is by far the best single pancake pan I have ever used of any type. It cooked perfectly evenly even to the edges over a burner large enough to cover the bottom of the pan, never used oil and so the GF cakes I made were all even sized, evenly cooked, evenly browned and non greasy. It could potentially become a fad! Cannot wait to try it with crepes and omelettes...but so far, I won't let anyone else use it. That from someone who usually dreads cooking. This pan is worth its weight in gold. It's beautiful and high class as well.

This was the first piece of WaxonWare that I purchased. It works wonderfully and is beautiful to look at as well. I have been very careful to follow all the directions such as using medium heat and no olive oil etc and so far so good. I liked it so much that I ordered several other pieces of WaxonWare to replace my old set. I especially love the grill pan and the sauce pan. Cleanup is so easy. I am a bit concerned about other reviews that said the non-stick stops working after a while. Only time will tell. Hopefully if I follow the directions it will last. It really does make cooking a joy instead of a chore.

I love this pan, maybe cause it looks different than other frying pans I have used. The pan's non stick ability is really good, and it heats like a cast iron pan. Meaning it takes a long time to heat up, but will hold the heat very good. I bought this pan in July 2017 and it is now June 2019 and the non stick coating is starting to flake off, mainly around the center. We have only hand washed it and only used wooden or plastic implements with it.

I absolutely love these pans. So far I have bought all of them but the crepe pan. I don't make crepes, but I may end up buying that one too. It would be great for pancakes, etc. I will buy every pan they come out with. Love love them. Gave all my old pans away and paid much more for the my old pans than I did for these. Nothing sticks and they are so easy to clean. I'll let you know in a year or so if they hold up well.

Absolutely perfect. Non-stick and my crepes turn out perfect. Whether you want for crepes or pancakes or to fry bacon, hamburgers or just to defrost frozen fruit, this is your pan. I made French Toast this morning, No oil needed. Best pan I've ever bought . With the quality construction, I’m sure it will be around for a long time. If I could give 10 stars I would. Love it!

The pan looks good and sturdy, but that's the only good thing I can say about the pan. Out of the box the pan is not flat when you place it on a ceramic cooktop. It is not much but it is noticeable and it rocks a bit. The real problem is when you heat the pan. I washed it twice with soap and hot water and placed it on my electric stove. I usually set the heat to 4 on a scale of 1 to 8. After several minutes the pan started to give a very distinct chemical odor (like burned plastic, but not exactly) and started to warp (the middle of the pan visibly popped out). I turned the heat off and wiped the pan with paper towel. I was surprised to see the paper towel turned the color of the pan's non-stick surface. It was like I was wiping off the non-stick surface. I'm not sure that the non-stick surface is made of , but it smells toxic. BTW the product description claims "A 100% PFOA Free German Coating", but nowhere on the box or in the user manual the word German is mentioned. Insted it is clearly marked Made in China. This is the second crepe pan I got from Amazon that has exactly the same problem. The first one was black and different brand, but clearly all this pans are made in China by the same manufacturer with the same materials. You decide if you want to risk it. I'm returning mine.

I am a real person, this is a real review. This pan is awesome. Easy to clean, non stick, the handle is nice to the touch. I loved it so much i bought all sizes. My wife even comments on how awesome these pans are. We have only had them two weeks and are using them on an electric range. We will be replacing it soon with an induction top. These pans should work. I will wdit my post in a few weeks

It seems nice and has been easy to clean so far... but we've only used it three times. AFTER we received the pan, we got the instructions for use: No Olive Oil! What?! That info would have been helpful if it were listed anywhere in the product description. They recommend using canola oil. I have olive oil, various flavored olive oils, grape seed oil, peanut oil, and butter. Unfortunately then, I am still primarily using my stainless steel pans. The WaxonWare pan has been good for making grilled cheese. It is thick and seems sturdy. I'll likely start using olive oil in the pan and just have to replace yet another pan in a couple years.
