Will this forge get to welding temp? Assuming the ends are blocked off with fire brick.

Can confirm 100% it will get to forge welding Temps. I've made quite a few pattern welded steel billets using this forge

I don’t think a bbq propane regulator is good enough, are sure it won’t need a higher psi regulator to reach 2600 degrees???

In my experience, no. A BBQ regulator doesn't provide sufficient PSI to reach good forging temps. The kit includes a 20psi regulator, which is sufficient for a small, one-burner forge.

How long does it take to cool down after being at forge temp for a couple hours?

Varies on the conditions: ambient temp, humidity, how well it was assembled, use of fire bricks…
