I use this for gout flare ups. It allows me to still eat my trigger foods sparingly without the dreaded side effects. I have been using the tart cherry juice concentrates, but wanted an easier form to travel with. THis fits the bill and is a bit cheaper too. It doesn't dissolve well in water, but I found if I use luke warm water it desolves a bit better. the flavor and smell are not what you think of for tart cherry. Its not tart at all. but in comparing with the effectiveness of the juice this does well. its not as effective, but it does good enough that I am going to use this from now on cuz its easier in a lot of ways. I recommend this if you have gout!

I am very disappointed. I have loved bulk supplement tart cherry powder every time I have ordered it. I have gone through five 1 kg bags in the last month. Love the taste, the way it helps my sore muscles, and how it assists with pain, but this most recent bag I received tasted awful. I think it was a bad batch or rotten but it is so bad that I am unable to consume it. I am bummed because I love this powder, but I can’t afford to waste an entire bag to order a new one since it is so expensive. I am unsure of how to return the bag since I have opened it. Just overall frustrated.

I purchased this supplement for a couple reasons. First of all I wanted an easier way to incorprate my cherry extract into my drink without having to add 8oz of liquid to the drink I already have prepared. Second is the cost, Tart Cherry Extract juice is not inexpensive by any means, unless you get a subpar brand. Well I was very plaesantly surprised to find that Bulk Supplements carried it in powder form. I have been using this supplier for a while now. Normally one person or another in my family makes the orders & we have always been completely satisfied with their products. This extract not only tastes exactly like the juice I'm used to drinking, but it feels just as good to my body...the few time I have ran out of the juice I can feel my body not responding the same way or rather shall I say "NOT FEELING" the same. but with this powder from BulkSupplements, I have noticed no difference in the feeling from drinking the expensive juice I'm used to.
