Cosmo Backpack - Black, 6.5 Liter

I bought the Fireside II pattern to use as a purse. I usually use a Lug Kickflip2 wallet as a crossbody and rarely bring a purse anywhere, but it is nice to be able to carry a few extra things. I wanted a subtle pattern that didn't look too juvenile and also was neutral enough to match a lot of outfits and this fit the bill. I also read that it can be washed, so I don't worry as much about the white getting too dirty, but I may still scotchguard it just to be safe. My son has a Dakine campus bookbag that still looks flawless after 4 grades of school and even 12 weeks of summer camp and there's no sign of wear! I'll admit I've never washed it, cause I've been afraid it would ruin it. But it still looks solid! These are great bags. I do agree with others that some of the bags seem crinkly, and while my bigger 25l prom backpack in "Burnt Rose" is crinkly compared to my son's campus backpack, I did read other reviewers' posts mentioning Dakine using recycled plastic to make their bags, although I haven't yet determined the validity of that claim. But I'm thinking that could be why the bags feel this way to some people. This particular pattern of cosmo bag, however, does not seem "crinkly" at all to me. It fits my Kindle 7 tablet with ease, complete with its thick padded case and large carrying handle(without even folding it). It also fits a large book and my Lug Kickflip2 wallet. It can fit all three, but it bulges some in the front, which limits what I can put in the front pocket. But without one or the other it would be fine. This bag will also fit a water bottle and many other things, just like the other reviews state. I'm loving this bag. I have a carabiner clip on my keys which I either connect to the front of this bag on one of the two loops, or to the carry handle on top. I purchased this on sale for under $15!! It's currently under $13 right now. Get it on sale while you can!

Perfect size for my 2 1/2 yr old to carry a couple small toys and snacks in! He loves it so much and the pattern is great: tropical with a lot of green in it making it very fun and still pretty gender neutral. I like the small outer compartment that has two slots for markers or pens, and a mesh pocket as well as another compartment that’s perfect for hand wipes. Great value for price! Very well made as well.

Love this backpack and brand! It’s the perfect lightweight small backpack that fits more than you can imagine and is thus great for travel. Pretty black and grey design. Very comfortable to wear, made from recycled polyester and waterproof finishing. Note: I have the same Dakine backpack which I’ve used for 15 yrs and it still looks great! Only now after stress testing it on many international trips and different climates is it beginning to show very minor signs of wear and tear, and only on the edges where it’s been sitting on stone and sand etc. Fantastic durability and quality! So I made it a point to find another one with this brand. Hopefully this one will be just as durable. This is a must have and would probably be a great kids backpack too. Don’t get one get two!!!

This is my go-to backpack. I have been using it daily for more than a year to walk to work and locally, throughout the city. It has adjustable shoulder straps that tighten and loosen smoothly, for an easy and secure “on” and “off”. It has so many different useful pockets for organization. Despite its small size it can cram a lot. I currently carry: a compact powerbank, grip gloves, a charging cable, box cutter, pen, permanent marker, watch, keys, small padlock, lip balm, watch, wallet, self-defense tool (I also work and walk at night), hat, work clothes, water bottle, and handheld flashlight. I regularly also have enough room to carry a meal or two, EarPods, a reusable bag, a packable jacket, and/ or a small book. If ever, I will carry the water bottle and/ or groceries in hand, and pack the rest. Large or winter jackets will not fit in this pack. Reasonably speaking, this is a very strong bag and the construction amazes me. I have only noticed slight wear at the seams of the carry handle. An only upgrade for me from this, would be a larger size bag with the same amount of organization, but room enough for things like a change of clothes, an unused jacket, or groceries picked up along the way home. Two water bottle pockets would also be essential. I work in crowded public places, so keeping all my things together in one bag while working or traveling is better. From experience that would be the ideal backpack for me, but for that, I’m still searching. Until then, this backpack has helped make me into a hero. It has made my every day travel around the city great. It has helped me keep my work stuff organized. It has made my work easier. My life is better thanks to this. 👏

I absolutely love Da Kine Cosmo backpacks. I have 5 different colors and have been buying this specific brand/style for years. I love the small compact design which includes multiple pockets and zippers. I use this bag for everyday use and perfect when traveling. I would recommend this backpack to anyone who is looking for something compact yet functional. I am able to fit my wallet, keys, a small water bottle and sweater in the main pocket. In the outer pocket I can fit my chapstick, lip gloss and other small knickknacks. Overall this backpack delivers a big punch in capacity and functionality. You won’t be disappointed. Pros: Delivery on time Packaging appropriate Awesome quality and functionality Compact yet holds a decent amount of necessary items Washer/dryer safe on low setting Comfortable wear on the shoulders Durability and longevity (I have a couple that are 8 years old) Cons: No cons as of yet

I was in the need for a new small, backpack I could use for day-hikes and outings, and this one works brilliantly. I've purchased Dakine bags in the past and have always like the quality and lasting-nature of them. There's two zippered sections to the bag: one main compartment, and a smaller front compartment that has pockets for smaller items like pens and cosmetics. You'll stay organized this way. Some minor downsides are that I wish there was more padding in the straps and that there wasn't so much extra strap that hung down past the backpack, but I just cut off the extra and sewed it. I'm sure other's probably wouldn't even care or mind, just my personal preference. If you're looking for something small and stylish, this works wonderfully.

Great bag! Love the number of pockets and how compact it is. Lots of spaces to stash all sorts of daily neccessties. Nice color variety.

This is a very cute little backpack purse. It's not padded, but that makes it lightweight and lets you use all the room available. The zippers are sturdy and stay zipped, the straps stay adjusted as you set it. It's got a small zipper bag in the big section and some nice organization space on the small section. The big section is big enough to hold wallet, glass cases, makeup bag and keys with room left over for a smallish water bottle and whatever. The small section has a pocket for a big smart phone as well as other items. The color and pattern are so pretty. The material seems sturdy for the size. I've gotten compliments on it already. I will definitely considering buying another in the future with a different color/pattern.

Inzwischen besitze ich eine ganze Kollektion dieser kleinen Dakine-Rucksäcke. Ich finde sie viel praktischer als Handtasche, da man sie auch sehr bequem auf dem Rücken tragen kann. Außerdem sind sie sehr robust und es gibt sie in vielen Farben und Mustern.
