Great printer, but do read the review about support
The printer was purchased for my wife to use with her business. She had issues and simply would not use it; she kept going back to an older HP Printer that had its own set of issues but printed better than this. So, there were a small number of print jobs on it when I decided to see what was going on. I should have done this sooner. I saw that there were serious print issues that I could not resolve. So, I contacted HP Support, and they went through things with me. In the end, they shipped a replacement printer. All is well with the replacement printer. Excellent print quality, and scan quality. All is well and I highly recommend, as always, HP Printers. The most important feature of a purchase is support, and I must say that HP excelled in this area.

As Advertised
Read the description and if it matches your needs, this is a good option. Setup and installation is a snap and it worked right out of the box. Had a bit of a problem getting it to respond to my Samsung S23, but I now believe it was a systems problem, not the printer. Had some system issues soon after the installation, and once I tracked them down and corrected the problems, everything in the house now works faster and better, including my new printer. I recommend this product.

IF YOU DONT LIKE MONEY - BUY THIS
Bought this so I could make a photo album for my wife for Christmas. Downloaded over 20k worth of pictures and videos. Stored them all on my hard drive. Sorted all the pictures into categories. Took a few weeks to do. Went back and started picking the ones I wanted to print for her. About 400 pictures in- and (6) 64XL Color Cartridges and 1(HP Color Instant Ink) cartridge (only used 1 HP Instant Ink Black cartridge) My printer received an error code. I contact HP tech support via chat. Took over 20 minutes in a chat to actually get to the problem. I even logged into my HP account from the start so they would have all my information. Still needed to provide it in the chat. After 1 hour the tech support person had me running the same steps over and over to no avail. Then wanted to remote log into my computer- Uhhh no thanks. I said a few things in the chat I am not proud of. BUT I vowed to never again buy HP printers or products. I seem to have problems with HP printers around the 400-500 page mark. This was my 4th HP printer in 8 years. I have just been too stubborn to switch. BUT hey- if you like wasting money, and going through ink like water, then this is the printer for you. I was so desperate to get ink, that I was running into Office Depot(shiver) to buy ink. Thanks goodness they price matched Amazon, and saved me a few bucks. Ink is not cheap. I think the ink used for this printer is hand crafted by Elves in the Brazilian rain forest only on full moons. It has to be based on the prices they charge for it. So 6 regular XL ink cartridges, and 1 instant ink cartridge for 400 pages. That equals about 57 pages per cartridge and the cartridges are about $55 a piece, so a little more than $1.00 per page to print a photo. I could go to a printing company and not actually have to do all the work. Just pop my stuff on a flash drive, take it in and say, print this. It would be the same cost. That's not even taking into account the cost of the paper. That is about $0.50 a sheet. So $1.50 per photo. Print quality was ok on it. I did use HP Premium photo paper Glossy 60lb weight. I printed 8x10s, 5x7's and 4x6's. At first the 4x6's in the main paper tray were printing out crooked and the photos were not lined up right. I switched to photo tray and same problem. I wasted about 10 4x6 pictures trying to get it right. Eventually I had to use the main photo tray to get the 4x6 to work. The 8x10 and 5x7 were no problem. Just sucked through ink. So HP I say farewell, its not me, it's you. Its been 20 years of disappointment and frustration, but this time I mean it, we are done. Don't try to come back to me later saying you're good, and you worked on yourself and we can make it work again. Fool me once, shame on you, fool me 20x+ for 20+ years, shame on me.

Great Printer - Beware of HP''s "shakedown" via In$tant ink program.
It's a great printer. Has some great functions and would be a 5 star purchase, but the greedy folks at HP will shake you down for all kinds of $$ and it's likely anyone (like myself) reading over the terms of their super fantastic In$tant ink program would say "wow, that's cool!" and sign right up for it . Read it carefully. I started noticing charges beyond the $5 a month program I chose from HP on the card I used... went and logged in to the wonky windows app, well how about that... you only get so many pages per month allowed, then it's like 10 cents a sheet printed... They don't make this exactly clear when you sign up to let them get in your pocket. When I read over the In$tant ink agreement, and did not understand by choosing the level of service I chose, you are only allowed X amount of sheets printed... It asks estimate you print usage, I clicked, ehh ...10 pages thinking well, most of the time, that would be my guess on printing documents... thinking well, $5 bucks or so a month for a year would cover the cartridge replacement cost when they ran dry, but it wasn't spelled out anywhere clearly in that agreement (*it may now, I got this thing last year and surely others discovered this after using the printer cartridge program) and after printing a huge manual for work and being billed per page, I dropped that In$tant ink BS and went and got regular cartridges (which were not cheap). Also, the unit has to be "on" and connected all times to HP via wi-fi to monitor usage and cartridge certification verification (system firmware reads what's going on with all aspects of your printer, I found that a little creepy). They also kept spamming me in e-mail to re-join the awesome shakedown program and join the In$tant paper thing since I printed that huge shop manual one time. I can only imagine how they will dig in your pocket for that business. Bottom line, great printer - get you own "HP certified" cartridges, you apparently can't use off brand ones, won't work/print with anything but official HP ones, avoid their In$tant programs unless you don't mind random charges. I thought about getting giant ski mask to cover the printer with, but just canceled that mess and paid for 2 cartridges that were almost as much as the printer itself. It was like inviting a pick-pocket in the house. A pick-pocket printer indeed. Update - so to be fair, I asked someone else who has the same setup, and was told that you can roll over the number of paper/sheets you don't use per month to your account, but only 150 total. So, you can wait a few months and not use the printer, accumulate 150 pages max roll over, then use those and not get charged per page. Once you use more than that many saved up pages, hand is back in your wallet.. Plus the monthly charge for th

Nice machine
I love my HP printer machine. The only problem is that really the ink is so high in order to really print. You have to be a member of the HP printers club which I feel is a rip off. I was a member for years and I was paying each month and wasnโt using it so unless youโre going to invest in monthly Inc. thatโs just not to buy an HP buy something else that you donโt have to belong to a club.

A printer that does it all!!
This printer does it all! Since we purchased it I have been very happy with it. The panel for set-up and control is a big plus for my husband. I highly recommend this product.

Very pleased
This is a quality printer and I am so happy to have it and itโs a breeze to use once it is set up. My neighbor came over and set it up for me so how lucky was I donโt hesitate to buy this. Downside because you have to sign up and pick a plan you wanna pay monthly for so I chose the $10 plan because this is not something I will be using very often. Iโm a retired person who basically just has to print out stuff for my doctors it will print in color which I donโt need that either but there you go donโt hesitate to buy this.

Sharp, clear prints; easy setup
So far, so good! This printer was easy to set up. It doesnโt seem as solid as the 10-year-old HP all-in-one deskjet itโs replacing, but since I donโt intend for it to leave the table it sits on, I donโt think that will be an issue. Printed colors are sharp, clear and bright. Duplex printing has an annoying pause between sides. Initially I didnโt click in one of the ink cartridges properly, which caused a paper jam error, but it was easily resolved. It was also easy to add this printer to my InstantInk account. I have a love-hate relationship with InstantInk, which made me look seriously at other printer manufacturers, but I kept coming back to HP for features like color printing, automatic duplex printing, photo image quality and price. I also figure that if the HP printer Iโm replacing lasted almost 10 years, like the one before it, HP is a pretty good bet.

HP Quality at the higher end
I should have bought this one in the first place, all applications work well and the setup was a breeze, just have to figure out why when I press the scan to computer option on the printer display it brings up the w11 scanner option and not the HP option, if you launch the hp option from pc it works better gives you the ADP or glass option for scanning. Like all printer ink is expensive so if you print a lot opt for the instant ink option

instructions are not always clear
got this printer. opened box and followed instructions. was unable to open the " cartridge door". turns out the " printer door has to be closed to open the cartridge door. This was resolved after chatting with the HP mobile support team. There could be a little note or focus put on this in the video presentation that accompanies the printer. Anyways, printer works great. happy with purchase... ( outside of the frustration related to set up and video chat!... if you ever do need the video chat support from HP, I will say that it is fabulous!)

Scam
Printer is ok but the instant ink is a scam. You have to give a credit card number to get your 6 months free ink and then they charge you per month whether you get ink or not. I never got ink shipped to me during my 6 months free ink even after 4 phone calls saying I was out of ink so I had to buy ink at the store then finally they shipped me 4 free ink but since I cancelled my account because my ink was not being automatically shipped; the ink cartridges they sent so longer work cause you have to be connected to their program. Scam! Scam! Scam!!! I will never buy Hp products again! Printer also keeps shutting down saying no ink cartridge so I have to unplug it to get it to reboot to work.
