Yes, you still need that.The no drill mount connects to that.

does this adhere to brick?

Yes. It will stick to brick. It’s very strong 3M double sided tape.

Can I order more adhesive strips?

I don’t think you will need extra unless you’re moving it multiple times. Mine has been up for a year with no issues. It does come with an extra adhesive strip but you can’t order more. If you really need more just order a roll of double sided tape but you’d have to cut it yourself.
