The Equalizer 2

I remember Edward Woodward but being back in the 80s they are rather tame now. Denzil does a cracking job in all three films as violent as they are. He gets rid of the baddies! Love all three films

A very good sequel and great viewing

For me, I loved the original, and as always it's hard to top with a sequel. In "The Equalizer 2" you just might have said this isn't the case, as it may have just actually happened. For me, this was the most fun I have had at a movie all summer. Denzel is like a finely oiled machine who is at his best, and not sure maybe anyone else could have carried the movie as he did. The movie kind of reminds you of Reeves in John Wick, don't piss either one of them off and hurt someone they love as they will find you. The story is slick and moves along at a very fast pace, I could feel the audience tense up at times, and also found myself shedding my fingernails as this one is a true nail biter. The script keeps you guessing as to where it's all headed, very well written. I loved the supporting cast in the movie as they bolstered the story. If you looking for an action movie that won't leave you bored and give you an adrenaline shot for the summer, then this is the movie to go see. My favorite so far for the summer of 2018, so good I may just have to go see it a second time!!

The Equalizer 2, Blu Ray, Region B PAL system, BBFC Certificate 15. As with Equalizer 1, delivered quickly, with outer sleeve; no issues. Excellent discount price! Better story, with tension and intrigue; great cinematography, fight choreography, and action set pieces; although I always feel uncomfortable with harsh violence inflicted on a woman. We found it an improvement on the first Equalizer film, with the ending very satisfying. Recommended.

I really enjoyed the first Equaliser film, a great updating of the 80's TV series and Denzel Washington is wonderful as Robert McCall. Sadly, 2 seems to miss the point, instead of making it about McCall's desire to right the wrongs of the powerless (and his slowly growing rage in 1 was brilliantly done) this a film about revenge and as such could be any number of other action films. So yes, Denzel is great, the action sequences are great but there's very little to set this apart from any other film of this type. Which is a shame. It'll fill an afternoon, you won't have wasted your money if you like action, but you won't remember it for long either.

I’ve loved the whole series of these Equalizer films. This was once again another great Denzel Washington Movie. I won’t give the plot away but definitely a highly recommended film from me.

Excellent films à un très bon prix, un film de suspense rempli d’action. Denzel Washington reprend son rôle de justicier dans ce deuxième film. Toujours fervent de justice il se donne comme mission de trouver les coupables du meurtre d’une ce meilleur amie et ancienne collège de travail à C.I.A. Mais c’est avec stupeur qu’il découvre que les responsables son d’anciens collègues de travail, qui eux aussi sont à l’emploi de la C.I.A. Mais une fois qu’il découvre la vérité, il doit lui aussi protéger sa vie ainsi que celle d’un adolescent qu’il a pris sous son aile. Mais pour cela il devrait éliminer ses anciens collègues et amis. Bel film, secondo della saga (lingua italiana presente). Per gli amanti del genere. Spedizione ok.
