Taste comparison vs Guldens?

I find the Heinz brown mustard to be less spicy, less tangy, but more flavorful than Guldens. They are really two different taste sensations, and I prefer the smoothness ot Heinz to the more pronounced flavor of Guldens, which tends to stand out in whatever you are using it with. Hope this helps.

What is the expiration date?

Mine was April 2019, not as far off as I would have liked.

What is the expiration date?

I purchased this mustard Feb 2018; it has a "best by Feb 2019" date on the lid; no expiration date. It still tastes fresh.

Is this the same sauce the same as in the cup sized portions?

I do not know what cup sized portions you are referring to. In my opinion this does not taste as good as the other honey mustards I have tried. I will not buy it again.
