Solidly built
This basket fits amazing on the kamado joe classic. It is very thick metal and not flimsy like some. This is also quite a bit cheaper than kamado joes fire basket. Get this! Super easy to clean and performs like a charm!

It did not hang above the bottom of the grill on my Kamado Joe grill. I kept it anyway.
It appears to be very sturdy stainless steel, nice. Will aid in easily saving unburnt charcoal.

As good as the original
Didn’t want to spend $120 for the original KJ basket and this thing fits mit Classic II just fine. Not sure what issue some others had, but all I can say is buy it. Quality and sturdiness seems to be excellent.

Good fit. Heavy gauge- should be very durable.
Heavy gauge SS, fits my Kamado Joe 18” perfectly. Allows embers to drop through into the ash box to light wood chips for smoking. Haven’t tried the divider yet, but so far everything is good.

Ver well built and sturdy. I cut the hooks off with a grinder, so it work on my Kamado Joe Classic. No regrets

great product for a lot less
Just got a Kamado Joe Classic and this charcoal basket was recommended by my friend. It does what it supposed to for a lot less. I used it for the initial burn and I am totally happy that I went with this. Fits perfectly with other accessories as well. I will use the savings to get a soapstone to sear my steaks.
