Works nearly perfectly
This resist gets 5 stars for ease of use, quality, and easy removal. Although transferring from the bottle to smaller applicators is challenging (I wish it was in a jar) and a bit messy. It goes on the silk easily and effortlessly with minimal to no spreading. It does take a while to dry completely, but it makes excellent lines that Iโve not penetrated with dye even though I have gotten a little on the resist lines. As some folks have mentioned, it does pucker the fabric some, especially thicker lines, but I havenโt noticed it affecting its resistant qualities or affecting how the dyes act. Itโs easy to remove, even after steaming, just rubbing off in cold water with a little silk detergent. Overall, itโs a tremendous product and I donโt have to mess with toxic chemicals or worry about environmental problems from washing this down the sink, which should not be done with Resistad.

Good Brand, Good product
Thank you for offering this item on Amazon.com. I have an older bottle of this resist and the resist is clear. The one I ordered appears off-white. Have not had a chance to use it yet.

Works great!
We ordered a Jacquard starter set for my son to do a school project. What I didn't realize was that the gutta that came in the set wasn't intended to wash out. It wasn't a set back because we were doing a framed piece, but he wanted to make a wearable scarf for one of his mentors so we got this. It washed out beautifully and worked fine. Even with a young artist we had no trouble with it getting saturated and running.

Bad product and late delivery
Firstly, they didnt deliver in timeslot given and were quite late. If you cant deliver, you should state it. Especially with a medoicre product such as this. If it were an ecellent product, i'd take off a star. This is a 2 star product and i took off a star for not delivering as stated. So for the product itself which is important, it seems like its just an acrylic base masking fluid such as for watercolors, its globby even coming out of the smallest nozzle. If you thin it so that you have a more precise application, it didnt resist the dyes. It worked more like golden's masking fluid for papers, canvas, etc than resist which I use on silk. Perhaps it was a bad bottle and thats why it took so long? But that doesnt make sense either. So i dont know. What i do know is it wasnt a good resist.

Dries pretty fast, resists dye well
I used this in little precision-drawing bottles in a workshop where I only had 15 minutes for it to dry. It wasn't all dry, but it did well enough against the dye (Fiber Reactive synthetic) and the workshop participants really liked it. It says it's non-toxic, which is important in the school setting where I use it. There's very little information on the bottle, but it's pretty straightforward to use.

The picture of the image I ordered is not correct.
I did not receive the black paint on resist, I wanted instead I got the wash out non color resist.

Messy, But works well
This was a bit of a mess to use. It got everywhere. But: it absolutely worked. Gave me a reasonably crisp line between the dye and undyed fabric. Washed out nicely after dyeing. Overall, very happy.

It is not for watercolor painting.
What I wanted was resist for watercolor painting. This is specifically for for use clothing and on materials where you can remove it using warm water. I am sure it is a fine product for that use. It is not useful for watercolor painting. It dries hard and cannot be removed easily from the paper. Mostly my fault. The front label could announce its unique usage.
