Was fine when working, but lasted only 1 month.

It worked only for 15 days. Now its not working . There is no way to connect to customer care or raise complaint. Even thogh it has warranty left but not able to connect to team .

My Nintendo Wii console had been offline for a good couple years. I honestly thought my Wii was kaput. But then, I discovered my Wii wasn't as dead as I thought when I tested it with the wires of one of my friends' Wii console. My guess is that my cats ruined the wires as they hung too close to the floor (not all my cats were housebroken). So, I ordered a replacement power cord and motion sensor bar for my Wii as soon as I could. I would have ordered a replacement AV cable cord as well if I hadn't noticed this Wii HDMI converter (and other adapters like it) in the item recommendations. To my great delight, it works like a charm. I'd call this an unexpected upgrade. Now, I wouldn't say the upgrade is in the picture quality, but instead in how it allows me to connect an HDMI cable to my Wii, taking up less space than an AV cable cord would. This was a very nice, convenient buy, and thanks to this item (along with the other replacement components I ordered) my Nintendo Wii lives again.

This product does what it is intended to do. It converts the RCA port to an HDMI Port. I gave it four stars because for the price, this really isn't a bad product at all. It does the job that it is intended to do pretty well. Setting it up was really easy, as you just plug it into the RCA port and then plug and HDMI cord into it. It does not come with an HDMI cord, as it is not listed in the description. While the product does the intended job, it still has some drawbacks. After some time, a blur appears on the bottom half of the screen. This is especially true in more graphically intensive Wii games. Additionally, this HDMI Adapter does get hot. It doesn't get so hot that it will burn you but it does get hot enough where I have worried about the components inside of it deteriorating. I have had this product for 2 1/2 months and still works the same as when I got it. Things to consider: 1.) The size of the product. If you plan on hiding your Wii in a small cabinet on your tv console, then make sure you add the additional length of this product to your Wii length, to see if it will fit. 2.) I'm not sure whether my product is defective or not but it does create a blur on the bottom of the screen while playing games, mostly. 3.) Don't forget to purchase an HDMI cord separately, in order to plug this product into your TV.

Works exactly as described, it's light weight so no worries on it sagging down in the AV port of the Wii causing connection issues. It up scales the graphic output of the wii and looks amazing, games never looked this good on the Wii as they do now. Brings new life to this classic console

I have an old wii that I soft modded a while ago I had it hooked up to a crt but I wanted it on my monitor at my desk so I can play my games in widescreen in the comfort of my nice office chair. (My monitor doesn’t have any av ports nor do I have an av to hdmi adapter) Que the wii2hdmi.. this baby is a lovely little doo-dad that breaths new life into my old wii, I didn’t even know the wii was capable of putting out a picture quality this clean it looked THAT good. AND it was super easy to “set-up” if you want to even call it that… it’s plug and play baby!! All you really need to do is turn on widescreen from within the wii. The only and I mean ONLY issue I have with it is it can have some weird scaling issues with my monitor (1440p) where it has black bars all around it, but that’s honestly not even a big deal if you know how to play with scaling.. it’s only a problem if you plan on doing this to a completely unmodded system. Anyways, I definitely recommend this thing to anyone who actually likes the wii and would even recommend this to hardcore purists who still play on crts since it does give out a cleaner signal (that is if you can plug an hdmi into your crt lol)

I had always hooked my Wii up via RCA style cables and when I retired the Wii to a box in storage, I never dreamed I would resurrect it. However my wife and I craved playing some of the old games and decided to break it out, but to my dismay the newer TV's do not have the old RCA jacks and I needed an HDMI alternative. While I am fully aware that the Wii only presents itself in 480p and HDMI is really a formality, it was more about connection and not picture quality. This product does what I needed and that was just to get it working on a newer style TV. I would recommend this to anyone needing that HDMI hookup for their Wii. Please remember this product does not boost your resolution to 720 or 1080, it just allows you to pass connection to HDMI.
