Magic Makers Magician's Wax Gimmick

It was a trully amazing to see that i have a tiny little piece of magician's wax and some invisble thread ( free of charge ). It really does the trick, it's invisible and very easy to take strands ( just take one and peel off) the wax and the invisible thread is made for a extremely light thing like a card rather than a ring or a corder which i try and broke the thread. It's cheap. it does the trick. what more to expect?!?

This is a great product. The bar you get is about 2.5 inches x .5 inches x .5 inches, but that is plenty for quite a few tricks. The wax is reusable, and will, in conjunction with some invisible string, make most light objects appear to fly. I would say that a chunk of wax about 1/2 - 1/4 the size of a dime will support a maximum weight of a light silk handkerchief reliably. This wax is fairly easy to innocuously remove with a fingernail, but has, on occasion, left small, almost unnoticeable smears on my cards which require slightly more rigorous attention. This product will not adhere to skin, but any other dry surface will work, including plastic and glass. A bonus of this product is that by rubbing it between your hands for several minutes, one can greatly increase the grip you get on your cards, making sleights like palming, gliding, and double lifting a bit easier.

I watched a youtube video thinking i was going to get a 1x1 square inch of wax. Nope. I have so much that i don't even know what to do with it all. The smell is pretty strong as it is beeswax, but when you use small pieces of it, you don't even notice unless you smell your hands. Overall, this is a great purchase. I just need to figure out more ways in which i can use it.

My son went through the elastic quickly because the wax arrived way later. He needed both to make it last, the wax and the elastic!

Out of all the magicians wax I have had, this may be the worst. Magicians wax should not feel oily or greasy. If you use I.T. with it, it pulls right out because the wax simply turns soft simply by body heat. This makes it difficult to use the wax effectively. It leaves so much residue. I am used to a more firm and tolerable magicians wax. Also, whatever tape that is used to wrap around the block needs to be removed. Don't even put anything around it. It is a pain to peel off and your fingernails a full of wax because the tape is now embedded in the wax. Bad quality.
