I am extremely pleased and this was exactly what I was looking for. After searching locally for similar products and being disappointed in selection and quality I turned to Amazon and found the Morvat HD Brass Y garden hose splitter. After looking at several similar products locally and on Amazon I chose this specifically due to the ALL BRASS construction. Please take notice this is top tier product and other similar solutions ARE NOT all brass. Look at the screws that hold the valve knobs to the body and you will notice that they are chrome/ zinc/ cast etc. which means rust and deterioration quickly with this type of product. I am confident at the price you will not find a similar quality product. Don't make the mistake of trying to save $1-2 and having to buy another in a season or two. This is a long term ownership product. High quality ball valves. I would like to mention that the valves new are a little hard to turn at first until they are broken in. An additional feature is the included rubber O-rings for the hose ends hopefully ensuring a no leak connection for your existing hose. This works great as a splitter at the water source end or as a closure valve at the release end of the hose. I purchased this after working with a contractor who used this on the end of his hose giving you flexibility, can be dropped (tough but not recommended) on the ground, etc. When working with long hose lengths 50-100ft its a life saver not having to run back to the main valve to turn on/off. I would purchase another without thinking twice.

First of all, this is doing the job okay. I'm glad for that. It feels very sturdy and I'm sure it will last a long time. I appreciate that it came with Teflon tape and extra rubber washers. The ways in which I wish it were improved: I've noticed a tiny drip from one side (while in closed position) while the other side is in use. Not really even a trickle, little drips - but not zero. Also, it's difficult to turn the small closure if the attached hose's connection is any larger than the most minimal size. I have one hose with a heavy metal ring & one that has ribs all around it for grip - the control is so close to the end that it will bump into anything with any dimension to it. I can adjust the hose with a ribbed connector, but it does limit which of my hoses can be used. Because it overall feels quite sturdy I guess I'll just live with it for its lifetime, and then know to look for this issue next time I'm buying one. Still works okay, just not ideal.

I purchased this on June 27, 2024, and it has been working very well so far. The build quality feels solid and durable, with no noticeable leaks when properly tightened. The valves are easy to turn and provide good control over water flow to each outlet. I’ve been using it regularly in my garden setup, and it has held up nicely through different weather conditions. Compared to another sprinkler I bought that started leaking after only about half a year, this one has been much more reliable. Definitely deserves a (late) 5-star review.

Best thing I bought in a long time! No more dragging the hose from the front yard to the back and vice versa. You can use the valves to shut off the water supply for either one. Very sturdy, made of brass, and does not leak. Just screws on to the outdoor tap. You just have to buy another hose but it can be shorter. Why didn’t I do this years ago? Carole R.

This product has several shortcomings. 1.) Beware of tiny brass slivers, wear gloves while installing. 2.) While the valve handle is brass rather than cheap plastic, the screws holding the handle in place can't be tightened so that the screw won't turn with the handle. If the handle is operated frequently, the screw will need to be re-tightened. 3.) You will really need to crank the splitter connection down tight to your water outlet as otherwise it will leak. If this is a new and improved design, I would suggest that the designers try again.

I like the quality and it fits smoothly with other connectors No leaking so far

Imperial fitting. Not compatible. You will need to spend a small fortune in plumbing tape to stop the leak from the ill fitting piece. Fortunately I don’t need to remove and replace hoses all the time so I no longer feel so irritated having applied all the tape.

The product is very well made. It's missing only one thing. It says it's a "garden hose connector" in the description and on the package. What diameter are the threads? Unknown. Not stated. Are all garden hose connections the same thread diameter? No they are not. So I purchased this product for my hose nib and garden hoses. Guess what. It doesn't fit. Others who sell similar products put the diameter in their description. Please do so.
