Great tool
This is a great yard tool. I used it to cut up a branch that fell from the tree. I chopped it up for the fire place. The hook is great to grab pieces from the wood pile and pull them over to you. The blade itself has enough weight to split small pieces into kindling. It’s easy to detach if it’s stuck in wood as well, not sure I will ever need a traditional machete after using this. Also nice for clearing out brush.

Good tool - dangerous
Get tool for getting weeds around bushes. The handle could be tighter.

NOT 3 lbs! Maybe not even one
This is definitely not a 3 pounds machete nor should be advertised as one. Is lighter than a 16 oz soda can. Very disappointed. Won't be buying again. Not to mention 2 weeks waiting period is a 3rd party seller. It is fine looking and sharp looks comfortable enough for cutting Hay.

NOT A FULL TANG ! ONLY a PRATIAL Tang that is 2 inches into the handle. Where you see the cut into the handle is about where the tang stops. And whomever shapened the blade overhaeted the tip causing it to heat up and harden and become brittle, a small amount of it actually fell off as I was removeing it from the plastic! Will use a file to redo the tip and fix it. And the BALANCE point is about 1/3 of the way into the blade. The wood handle is rivited to the blade. Have to see how long that lasts???
