Nice commentary. Easy to understand and was glad to received it, even though the one that was sent was not this one shown.

These New Testament commentaries, are a great help to those studying the books of the New Testament, especially if you are new to more in-depth study and personal applications. I recommend this series. I wish they would come out with the Old Testament books as well.

I owned the study Bible of LAB and this commentary is definitely an excellent compliment to the study Bible

I am using this commentary as a supplemental tool for a women's Bible study I lead and all the ladies (45 of them) love it. Whether this is their first Bible study, or they have been studying the Word for many years, the ladies are benefitting from the insight and easy-to-use style, with helpful charts, maps and tables inserted throughout. Unlike other commentaries, you don't have to be a biblical scholar to use it or benefit from it, and there is also a focus on personal application that sets it apart from others more heavily geared toward deep intellectual or doctrinal advancement.

Bought this for several friends too!

These are super bible study books. I am slowly ordering 2 a month and building a great study library. They give each scripture and under each one they give you a commentary on that scripture. Gives you a better understanding of what that scripture meant. They are well done and makes reading the bible more like reading a novel and more understandable. When I'm studying I use several commentaries so you don't get just one persons view.

I am a little more than half through this. I am using it for daily devotionals partially because my Sunday School class is going through Revelation now (but not using this reference). It is an interesting read and works pretty well for my daily study. There is good background information and reference type information but it is what I would call easy reading. There is very little reference to the original greek texts, for instance, which I consider more scholerly(sp?). There is much more reference to complementary sections of the Bible. If you are interested in understanding Revelation a bit better, I think you would like it. Another caution I would add, however, is that I do not believe God intends us to fully understand revelation and that is the viewpoint of the author. So I would not buy this thinking you will have "all the answers" when you are done reading/studying it.

Very Good for study

Aufschlussreich, gut erklärt, viel Hintergrundwissen, leicht verständlich, für alle die mehr wissen wollen und auch gerne für Ihr Wissen etwas mehr tun wollen ist das genau richtig! Die Bücher sind immer gut! Leider ist es jetzt bereits das zweite Mal in Folge, dass ich Zoll nachzahlen musste - hier 3,34 Euro! Dafür ist das Buch als gebraucht nicht mehr günstig. Das ist nicht in Ordnung, denn es ist mit kostenlosem Versand angeboten. Schade. Ansonsten war das immer ein toller Service...
