Worked perfectly. I'm not a repairman but Youtube made me one. You do need to take your dryer mostly apart but they're pretty simple machines. I followed some kind Youtuber's steps and found the element was broken. Ordered these and a few days later put one in and the dryer is now functioning.

Got two - spare in the closet. it wrks good so far but just 1 month in - we will see. My advice is - make sure your vent tube is open all the way out. Air restriction burns up elements. Not difficult to put in - Just use Youtube videos and you will be fine...

They work as original equipment for our cloths dryer but don't last that long. Good thing they come in a two pack. Cost me a couple hundred dollars to have a repair man fix this heater coil. So after watching him change this unit out a couple of time I just bought replacements from Amazon I cjamged it out myself. Not that difficult.

My heater coil burned out, and I bought this double pack at a great price. It was super-basic to replace; nothing unexpected. The one thing I noticed many tutorials and such don't talk about is keeping this heater element clean when installing and not touching the wire surface. This is a heater element, and getting oils and contaminants on it can shorten the life due to heat concentration and/or carbon build up. My guess is these fail a bit early is because of the drier design; I mean, they aren't really all the sealed up inside, and I had a decent amount of lint in and around the heater housing (and we're pretty rigid about cleaning the lint screen after each load). My guess is lint settles on the element over time and causes premature thermo-fatigue. I didn't touch anything on this new element (plus wore clean rubberized gloves), so we'll see how much life I get out of it. Hopefully it'll be similar to the original unit.

As a Technician I look for good quality and parts that tend to last long and not go out prematurely. The reason is this cuts back on returning to do the job of which is cost time and money.
