This little thing makes shoveling way easier with less strain on my back. It is amazing how simply adding a second handle can relieve so much strain. It also feels very solid and is easy to install. I have only used it for one heavy winter so far, so hopefully it continues to be as durable as it seems. All in all, a great purchase that makes a tough job way less painful.

Works perfectly and really makes the task of shoveling much easier on your back. Easy to set up and fit two different brands of shovels. Will sometimes twist on the shovel under a heavy load, but easy to put back. Highly recommend.

Helpful Back-Saving Handle That Really Works I added this BackEZ ergonomic handle to a couple of my yard tools—a snow shovel and a garden rake—and it genuinely makes a difference. The angled grip lets you stand a little taller and take strain off the lower back, especially when moving heavy snow or raking for long stretches. It also helps distribute effort through the arms and core instead of bending at the waist. Installation is simple: it clamps onto most tool handles with the included Allen wrench, and I like that the wrench stores right on the handle so you can tighten it if it loosens. Once in place, it feels sturdy and doesn’t slip. The resin material seems tough and has held up well through sun and cold weather. That said, it’s not perfect. The hardware isn’t captive, so you have to be careful not to drop the bolts when attaching it. Also, it does add bulk to the tool handle—fine for a shovel or rake, but it might feel awkward on something thinner like a broom. Bottom line: For the price, this is a smart add-on that can really reduce back strain during shoveling, raking, or other yard chores. It’s not a miracle worker, but it makes tough tasks easier and more comfortable.

Makes shoveling heavy snow so much better. By grabbing this grip rather than shovel handle it feels more natural and I get a more even power balance between my two arms. Maybe the fact that the grip is 90 degrees relative to the shovel handle and also brings it closer to my body is what makes it work so well.

Not getting any younger, and these make moving the snow much easier. Very simple to install. Very sturdy. Liked so much we ordered more.

I finally got to shovel snow and this handle was life changing. I could lift so much more snow than before. Having the wrench attached to the handle made it possible to adjust the location and tighten it down making each shovel easier to lift and throw. Love this attachment
