This is a great knife for slicing ripe, garden-grown tomatoes. That's what I bought it for, even though the growing season is a little limited. Those rock-hard grocery store tomatoes can be cut with any ol' knife, but if you grow or have access to real ones, THIS is a great item! It has all proven its value on hard boiled eggs and muffins. I'm sure I'll find more uses eventually, but that's good enough for now. The price is quite low and I'd consider it quite a bargain. I've had (and have) Henckel knives and they are always good. I'm no expert with sharpening, but I've done okay with them, but this is a serrated knife. Do I really have to tell you not to sharpen it? My brother tried one once. Uh-boy......

I was looking for a good mid size serrated knife and this fit the bill. I love it and use it daily. It stays sharp, washes up in the dishwasher like new and has been reliable. Henckels makes the best knives!

I have this knife in our place in FL. I use it all the time. No steak knife or cheap paring knife works as well. Had to have another one for MI condo. When you find that perfect tool it’s priceless. The best knife in my knife block in FL. Now my favorite knife here.

This is a great little knife. Well made. I bought it to cut tomatoes and other veggies and small meats. It works great. Very sharp. The serrated blade really makes a difference when cutting something like a tomato.

Cuts like a knife! Ha, ha...works really well. Love it on tomatoes and veggies. Works well on steak & chicken, too. Grip feels safe and comfortable, too. I'll come back and give an update after I've had it for awhile. But, so far, so good. Nice value for the money. UPDATE: Downgrading to 4 stars, instead of 5, because the serrated edge is only on one side. So, while sharp, it tends to lean one way and doesn't provide a clean, even cut all the time.

Love this knife. Slices beautifully. I am one of the few who doesn't have (or need) a dish washer, but I do have a double sink. It tends to sit blade up on the rinse side, so be careful if you wash dishes by hand!

Knife is sturdy, comfortable and very sharp, but the serrated edge is only ground on one side, so it pulls sideways when slicing. For that reason, it’s not the favorite knife I was hoping for.
