IPEVO IW2 Wireless Interactive Whiteboard System. Teach from Home, Play at Home, Short Pen, Model Number: 5-876-1-01-00

I wasn't expecting much for $170, but I'm pleasantly surprised with how well this works. The setup was fairly easy as long as you don't skip ahead like I did. Calibration was easy and it works well as long as there isn't too much glare on your screen. The kids love it. The companion 'Annotation' app works really well and offers all of the features of a $8000 smart board.

This has been great for my classroom. It can be hard for the students to use just because it "drops" objects when the pen is drug into shadows, but the kids are getting used to it. It has made my lessons more engaging and the kids really love it. It was easy to set up. I have my projector sitting on a table that often gets bumped, so we OFTEN have to recalibrate it, which can be a hassle because we have been having to do it many times throughout the day, however, it is quick and easy to do and the kids love to help do it ;) (that is our own fault, if we didn't have it on the desk, it would not have to be recalibrated often).

Great product, the issue of light hampering the device from working to its best capacity is the only reason I am giving a 4 star for accuracy. Works great in a darkened room but has some accuracy issues if there is no much light. Makes it a bit challenging at times for persons in the Caribbean teaching during the day. Other than that, it’s the best teaching aid I have bought in a while

Impossible to calibrate when your classroom projector isn't mounted to the ceiling! Doesn't work with PowerPoint presentations. Unfortunately, I purchased this at the end of the school year and once fall came around and I could try the pen with students it just doesn't work. My students were so excited to help me get this pen working. I missed the return date, only a month. I really tried to get this to work but it just wouldn't calibrate. We never got a chance to use it. What a waste of educational money. I really like to return it and get something that will work. I was hoping since this is an Amazon product there would be a better return policy. Educational funds don't come along very often.

It's a bit frustrating to program because you need 2 people to calibrate it. Once person touching the screen with the wand, and a second to press the spacebar on the computer. The accuracy isn't too bad considering the price. I really wish they had a smaller wand. This thing is a beast, nearly 2 feet long!

So for the purpose of supporting this product, I did like it. It did install easy. It is mega easy to calibrate and it does what it says it does. The problem I had was not with the product itself.. Once I got our projector in and I hooked this pen system up to the laptop, and then the projector to the laptop; I realized I had too many components in the equation. Wires every where for the projector, the camera forbthe pen, the laptop. It was a bit much. Then I started thinking if I took the pen out of the equation and did the projector on a whiteboard. I use regular dry erase pens, it accomplishes the same thing. This pen would work far better in a school setting and a wonderful option for schools who cannot afford the smartboards, as you have the ability to print the work done as well as save it to the laptop. This is an excellent feature. But it was just not what I was looking for. If it was, it is worth every penny.

I had a smartboard for almost 10 years and then moved to a new school where I no longer had access to a smartboard. I ordered the Ipevo IW2 in hopes that it would offer a similar experience. When it arrived it took me a bit to get it set up. Getting the placement of the sensor just right was a bit of a challenge, but once I did, WOW! (Set up would have been easier with two people; one to hold the sensor and one to use the wand for set up) I love it! It works perfectly. Both the sensitivity and precision are great. It works just as well as the smartboard. The wand works perfectly. The size is great for little ones. All in all, I highly recommend the Ipevo IW2.

I love this product! I am in a portable, so the school district will not install a smartboard. This cheap alternative is great! If my projector and the sensor were on a stable surface (or mounted) It would be perfect...not the manufacturers fault...its for my own sanity. Since most portable classrooms don't have magnetic dry erase boards to mount other smart board alternatives to, this works well. Con: I recommend a wireless keyboard and mouse that you can use while calibrating the sensor....It requires you use the keyboard to continue and you have to use the mouse to click. A lot of running back to the computer is needed if you don't have them. Also a partner to hold the "magic wand" while you adjust the sensor.

El dispositivo funciona bien, siempre y cuando se cuente con un buen proyector (resolución nativa 1080p, como mínimo) y un espacio mediano. Es una buena opción de "bajo" presupuesto para hacer más interactivas las clases. Aunque calibrarlo es un poco tedioso, con algo de práctica se vuelve más rápido. En mi caso, solía haber menos precisión de la pluma cerca de los bordes y eso dificulta hacer clic en íconos pequeños.

Perfetto per l'utilizzo. ottimo durante formazioni on-line, perfetta reattività, non perde un colpo nelle sue funzioni (basta che sia calibrato correttamente prima di ogni lezione. basta lavagne con gesso, di metallo o di carta, niente più pennarelli. perfetta compatibilità tra i vari dispositivi. fare attenzione se si usa una tv per trasformarla in LIM, meglio applicare una pellicola protettiva allo schermo. comodissimi gli attacchi supporto a corredo. usato in modo assiduo, preciso ed affidabile. consigliatissimo.

Esta muy bien cuando no tienes posibilidad de comprar una pantalla. Se puede proyectar en una pared blanca y funciona bien. En una pantalla de proyección no es recomenda ble pues esta se mueve al escribir.

My 13 year old son has wanted this item for over a year, as parents we were not convinced it was worth the money. According to my son it was absolutely worth the wait and his best purchase ever with Birthday money! It is keeping him occupied and he is enjoying doing his school work in lockdown and isolation. Now that is worth every penny👍
