Will it sharpen my chain?

It comes with 6 bits in 3 sizes(5/32''3/16'', 7/32'') which can help sharpen any of the chains out there. And you can usually find the sharpening size on the packaging of your chain.

How long does a sharpening bit last?

The bits are consumable parts. With the correct sharpening angle and speed setting 2, one bit can sharpen 4 to 5 chains.

Will it not clamp the bit tightly?

No. We did have problem with tightness and we have improved the nut in 2024. You will now get the most updated version of the sharpener.

Does titanium coated bits come off easily?

It does not. However, although we use the process of titanium coating, bit is a consumable and incorrect use will accelerate its come off. It is recommended to sharpen with speed 3 and keep the correct angle when sharpen chainsaw chains.

Works like a charm

This corded sharpener works great. I prefer the corded tool as it gives a lot of power. I used it on #2 with a 3/16 bit and a point 325 pitch and it did a beautiful job on my chain saw, which was completely dull. It only took about 5 minutes and cut my stump quickly. If I want to bring it for cutting firewood I will just bring my generator.
