Good product...
Definitely smells to high heavens when opening. Make sure to shake up the product before usage. Works well within three days of usage. Advise not tasting and probably not great for dogs, but awesome for saltwater fish.

Yeah this is the best I found. That said, it really is very expensive unless you have your own photoreactor too use this as startup material. For some reason, it's cheaper to buy it off of Amazon with a prime account than it is to buy it direct from the manufacturer. Not sure why that is.

I guess I could setup a grow station and make my own phyto, but no one wants to deal with all that long term. This stuff is great, and the price is just good enough to not deal with home grown. My corals and other filter feeders are doing so well with the addition for our five times a week. Shipping was crazy fast.

Did not come with an ice pack, came RANCID. Disgusting to ship a product like this. Not eligible for replacement???? DO NOT BUY. The “deal” isn’t worth getting rotten water. I’ve bought many times off eBay and my phytoplankton has arrived in the morning WITH ICE PACKS. This is disgusting. Very disappointing. Will NOT be buying ever again off Amazon. eBay might be sketchy but at least I get what I ordered. Will be paying double for a usable product. Who ships phytoplankton less than overnight shipping??? Bad company. Not healthy. Color was right, size felt like a good deal but the value is -$25.

Your corals and filter feeders WILL thank you!
All corals and pods do much better using phytoplankton. Turn off your skimmer for a 12 hour period to allow your corals to feed. This stuff benefits everything in a tank, your copepods will reproduce and repopulate for your fish and corals. Even if you have a refugium/cheato reactor your tank will benefit from occaisional use. Keep refrigerated for best longevity and agitate once a day. A bottle will last me a month and i have several smaller tanks
