This is one of the best purchases I have made on Amazon.com. I absolutely love the minimalist design. I love the slim-looking handle. I love the wooden top. I love the strainer right at the spout of this kettle, giving me the ability to brew loose-leaf teas without using separate tools. I ran across this product haphazardly whilst meandering through Amazon "window shopping" if you will. When I came across it, I was immediately captivated because I'd never seen a glass container that you could heat on the stove. Upon further research, I learned that a product like this was not uncommon; however, none of them looked this aesthetically pleasing. It is modern and beautiful, yet functional in its form. I couldn't resist buying this with one click. It arrived in its package in perfect condition. It was the exact size that imagined it to be. It felt perfectly weighted when I picked it up by its handle. The glass felt smooth and the spout is impeccably crafted so that the liquid you pour goes exactly where you want it to go. The first thing that I did was boil water with a few Chamomile flowers and fresh cardamom. Admittedly, I was a bit apprehensive about putting this on the stove even with the myriad reviews I'd read where people said they had never had an issue with heat damaging the product. I only heated the water- slowly- on medium heat. The handle was cool to the touch, the tea poured perfectly, the straining spout preventing the flowers and pods from escaping the kettle. I truly am a believer that sometimes the right product can make things taste better. This kettle makes tea BETTER. You can see your tea brewing, you can steep it to the exact color you'd like for it to be. I can't get enough of this. No more guess work as to how much liquid is left in your kettle. I have zero complaints about this product after using it every day for a full week. Appearance- 5 Function - 5 Would I purchase again? Absolutely.

Some of viewers said that it was too thin glass but you can see from my pictures that this glass kettle has no problem heating up and making a great green tea! Yes, it is easy to clean up. Yes, if the tea leaves are too small then the filter doesn’t hold back but again I don’t often use small cut tea leaves. It is very pretty, functional looking tea maker. This design can be made perfect if it is put better filter and easy accessible one. It is somewhat difficult to put the filter especially when you forgot it and it is boiling already! Every design can be improved. Yes, I do recommend this tea glass kettle without getting any money from this company. By the way I am a tea drinker so I use it 4 to 5 times a day!

Hands down best kettle I have owned! First off it is such a beautiful because, in the sense that the glass is flawless and the wood work is of superior quality. What was a plus about this kettle is that fact that not only was I able to use it for cold teas but also for warm drinks. In addition, because of its superior quality, I did not have to worry about my drink being too hot for this kettle. When they say no dripping they mean it! Not only was it effortless to pour my drinks but I was shocked at the fact that not a drop of my liquid spilled. Moreover, if you add some water, ice and lemon, this becomes a beautiful display piece. Overall, I am exceptionally happy with this purchase and would highly recommend it.

I like that this is larger than most I have found, it has the filter right at the mouth, it’s not difficult to clean, it’s a nice design, etc I don’t like that it’s China made, or that the handle can get hot and could be a little wider to feel less fragile, that it does have plastic (the ring around the inside of the lid), that it doesn’t have a flap to keep all the steam from escaping at the end of the mouth and that the filter doesn’t filter small items (this is probably the biggest con)

These are great. Have bought 2-3 now. Pros: 60oz is about 4-6 standard or large coffee mugs of hot water/tea. You can leave this on the stove on the lowest setting (not simmer) early in the morning and it will be hot enough in about an hour or so while you get ready for the day and cook breakfast. We've brewed tea & coffee in this. Glass pots don't rust! Great for glasstop stove or teapot warmer w/ tealight. Cons: If "borrowed" it's not coming back lol. Tricky to clean for those with larger hands, recommend a scrubbing wand. Stains easily, recommend white vinegar. Glass pots are delicate and can shatter, do not go above medium heat on your stove or risk explosion. Not recommended for coil stovetops at all.

Thick glass. The handle is a bit thinner. It doesn't effect use. I love this. Great size!

As is written on my headline, the kettle is very beautiful (the simple design and quite meditating to watch water boils in the glass) and practical (it does not break). Just be careful when handling the kettle (it's glass after all) and not put the bamboo lid close to heat source (it will crack), and this kettle will last for a long time.

Editing to update my review on this tea pot. You can’t look at it wrong without it breaking. I’ve had 2 break now after being bumped lightly into something else. First one broke when the handle bumped against the faucet while cleaning. Second one broke after bumping against the spout of my ceramic tea pot (Brown Betty style tea pot). Will NOT be buying yet another replacement! Exactly the same as the one I saw for sale at Wayfair for $10 more, and it out of stock on this larger size, so worth buying here but now that I have it in my hands I can see a few things that may be issues in the future. The handle is glass also, as expected, but thinner than I'd like. It's -maybe- the width of a pencil and flattened but not very thick. I can see this being a weak point in it's design so take care when washing it or one smack and the handle might break. The seal on the lid is thin and flimsy. It does not cover the entire metal rim of the lid, it's not wide enough, so it slides around some when you take the lid on and off. It's also -very- soft and pliable from the start so it will only get more so over time until it doesn't hold well at all. Also, when hot I can see this seal being possibly close to useless. When hot I expect it to become so soft it will slide around like melting butter. Might be worth looking for a replacement before then. Goes on easily and is -slightly- more difficult to pull off which is good, won't fall off easily when cool.

It was very badly packed and arrived broken. It is not good quality and is very flimsy.

Love this glass kettle - it looks nice on my hob. I've learnt that I have to angle the handle out and away from the gas flame so that it doesn't heat up too much. Looking at buying another of these in a different style with the tea leaf insert. Very happy - a fantastic buy

The lid broke and I wrote to Tealyra who not only sent me a new lid free of charge but sent me TWO. Golden service. Plus this kettle is awesome no metal taste, you can see when it needs cleaning and its is a joy to watch a kettle boil. I can't believe I hardly ever cleaned my metal kettle! Everyone should have a glass one. Its a beautiful object and useful too. Great seller.

Had to return immediately because it doesn't work on induction tops the only purpose I bought it for . May work over usual burners. Looks pretty so 2 stars.
