Does it work on a charge 5? the title says cable for luxe/charge 5 but the description says "this charger cable is designed for fitbit luxe only."

no idea, I have a luxe and it's great, but no clue about the charge 5. sorry.

Why do these chargers not have a reset button? My Fitbit Luxe has frozen, and instructions state to push reset button on the charger while connected

They are knock off brand. I had to buy Fitbit brand charger to get reset button.

What is the distance between charging electrodes?

It's approx 5/16" or 8 cm. FYI, 25.4 cm = 1 inch. So 8/25.4 = .3175" and 5/16" = .3125", so they are very close.

What is the length of this cable?

I do not have a tape measure with me at this moment, but it is at least 20-24 inches! They are a nice length.
