Fujifilm Instax Mini EVO Instant Camera

I wanted a decent camera to take with me to to Europe and this did not disappoint. I used to be into photography so I have some experience with cameras. I have my phone but I wanted to actually print and enjoy the photos. I also wanted to try to stay off my phone and enjoy the art of being intentional. This has great filter and color options to play with. One that I was super excited about was the monochrome. The biggest plus? It's like a normal digital camera so you can take the shot and print it later. I know I talked about intentional but this helped a lot for on the go and only doing only one or two. There isnt a view finder so you have to use the screen which I was actually fine with. Fair warning though, you can't add the filters later so take your time and play with them. I really appreciated the ability to change the lighting and exposure, it helped a lot when in super sunny places that blow out the exposure. The mega pixels is the same as Snapchat at I think 4mp so it's not the highest quality shot. But honestly it looked fine when printed on a small film. The colors, print quality, and detail are all fairly good. It's a gigantic step up (in price and quality) to the Instax Mini 41. Which is basically a bloated version of the original Mini. I do recommend buying a micro SD card for it I think it only holds 60 pictures. The biggest drawback? You cant send your pictures to your phone unless you print them. There I a workaround but I won't go into that here. A really big plus? You can connect to your phone and print pictures from your phone. There is an argument to just buy a photo printer but honestly I really enjoyed using a camera again. It was fun, easy to use and settings to make sure your pictures turn out correct. The pictures included are ones with filters. You can take some pretty great shots.

As a photographer, I absolutely love this camera. It combines the fun and nostalgia of instant film with the convenience of a digital camera. Being able to take multiple photos, choose my favorites, and only print the ones I want has saved me a lot of film. The image quality is excellent for an instant camera, and the different lens and film effects are fun to experiment with. The camera itself feels well made and has a classic design that gets compliments whenever I bring it out. We’ve used it for family memories, special events, and everyday moments around the house. My kids love watching the photos print, and I love not wasting film on a bad picture If you’ve been considering an Instax camera, I highly recommend spending a little extra for the Mini EVO. The ability to preview photos before printing makes a huge difference and makes the experience much more enjoyable and will same you money in the long run. I also like that the pictures are saved to a memory card.

It’s a fun to use point and shoot camera, and what makes it standout is that you can print from your phone directly to it! Size is very comfortable for my hands, although the portrait shoot button is placed in a weird spot. The black color gives it a retro feeling that love and compare to match a vintage camera I have. I think it will be great for my children as it is very simple to use. Finally the price tag is fair for the product, I have no complains at all!

I have 4 instant film cameras now, one Polaroid & 3 different models of Fuji. This camera is by far my absolute favorite. Someone mentioned the body of this cam is plastic & doesn’t feel like great quality, I agree but I also anticipated that as all instant film cameras are plastic unless you get the real deal vintage ones.. The photos come out sharper than my other cameras of which I personally much prefer. The macro is better than I anticipated, I love that you can control the settings like flash, zoom, auto focus on faces, add filters & obviously being able to choose which photos to print vs wasting film! Being able to bluetooth the photos from my phone & print them off of the camera is amazing!! The only thing I’ll nitpick thus far is the charging port. The plastic flap covering the the charger and sd card slot feels too fragile for something that’ll need consistent use. I’m also not a fan of the charger this camera requires as this kind always gets wobbly and eventually stops charging on me. *update: lastnight my camera froze, it was stuck on a blue screen and stayed that way until it died.. I was so bummed and afraid it broke after only 3 uses. Luckily after the camera died & was recharged, it turned on as it should and seems to be functioning properly. Hopefully nothing worse happens. *update: I’ve printed off around 800-900 photos and haven’t had any issues with the screen going blue/freezing since, I think it’s safe to say that was a weird fluke. I’m still very much in love with this camera & so glad I got it.

It's an Instax printer with a camera built in, and I love it. Pro tip: bump the saturation up in the Instax app to get truer prints to the original, if that's your thing, because the default print is a bit desaturated, which may be more of a feature than a flaw.

It’s a nice camera internally but it’s very gimmicky and I personally use it as a photo printer. Though I don’t regret this purchase because a Polaroid printer would just make me look like a poser.

When both of my instax cameras broke after hardly any use i was way of getting another one - but I'm a sucker for instant film cameras and this one sounded really cool and I loved the vintage camera look. This camera is awesome. It is lightweight, easy to load, easy to learn, & just fun to use. I love that you can use the app to print a photo you took on your phone on the instax film. Definitely worth the slightly higher price tag!

As an avid portrait photographer, I typically bring my DSLR with me everywhere. The cons? It’s heavy to lug around and sometimes I forget my battery packs or SD cards (iykyk 😩). Enter: Fujifilm’s Instax Mini EVO. I totally impulse bought this after seeing it in an Instagram reel 🫣 ahead of me taking a road trip up the PCH. This is honestly one of my favorite camera purchases to date. It’s like a digital x film x mini printer crossover. You do need to purchase film and a micro SD card separately, but my favorite feature is that you can take as MANY photos as you want and pick which ones you print/delete. It also comes in with pre-built in filters that are fun to mess with but I don’t use often. I recommend purchasing a SD card adapter to easily transfer all images to your phone - this camera does pair to an app but it only lets you transfer the images that you print out and the transferred images have a Polaroid frame. The picture quality is average - it’s exactly what you’d expect for a Polaroid picture. I also love that you can charge it with a USB-C cable (does not take long to charge at all - I think I’ve charged it once since I got it for like an hr and haven’t had to recharge since). In terms of functionality, this camera is awesome. It’s small, lightweight, fits easily into my bag, and is aesthetically appealing. I take it with me everywhere and definitely recommend making the leap if you’re unsure.

The item arrived on time. It works great!

It came earlier than expected and it was in great condition. I charged it once fully and it worked perfectly upon opening for the first time. The only issue I had was connecting it to the app to print pictures from my phone off the camera to have polaroids of already taken pictures, but that might've been a me problem. Regardless it took several attempts to figure out and many hours. I love that you can take many pictures like a digital camera and then pick which is your favourite to print. It's definitely less of a headache and less wasteful to have it automatically print and hate it. I will say the film is expensive so if you're not interested in keeping up with buying the film (and subsequently losing film when one gets stuck in the chamber etc), don't bother. It's an investment.
