This is my first non-Gundam, non-Bandai plastic model kit and now I understand the difference with the price point. The molded plastic had excellent surface details, it looked good even in an unpainted state. No mold lines were visible and the plastic parts were all clean and shiny. You almost don't need to paint this model but I still intend to give it a weathered look since Nier Automata takes place in a post-apocalyptic setting. The nub placements from the runners were thoughtful that the built state hides most of the parts with the more difficult to clean nub marks. Joints felt sturdy despite the use of polycaps. The polycaps were actually unnecessary and felt more like they were intended to reinforce where the parts connected. Take caution in posing the figure as the joints may be too tight and may snap. Overall, this was a fun and enjoyable build. The parts count will keep you occupied for a long time and the variability between flight and bipedal mode will keep you from getting bored with it. It also includes a mini 2B that fints into the canopy, her signature weapons Virtuous Contract and Virtuous Treaty, Pod, and display stands. It almost the cost like a perfect grade gunpla, but it is definitely worth the money if you're into details and articulation.

Instructions are in Japanese but so clear and easy to follow that I put the whole thing together without looking anything up. Everything snaps together, no glue necessary. Shipped incredibly quickly from Japan to the US as well. Couldn’t be happier with this purchase!

Excelente producto, el armado es sencillo (aunque un poco diferente de un gunpla clásico). Articulaciones sólidas que permiten varias posturas sin miedo a romper la articulación o que no se mantenga en su lugar. Si eres amateur en el hobby (como yo) el detalle es suficiente para exhibir sin más trabajo que el armado y calcomanías. Una gran compra para los fans del juego.
