Helmsman Teak Oil, Clear, 1 Quart

This worked fantastic piece of outside furniture that I have and was easy to apply.

Easy to apply, great look, and protects from the elements!

This is probably the best teak oil I've ever bought. Last year, I got some after seeing Minwax brand recommended over others, and I can see why. I thought I'd bought enough to do the job, but ran out around the 75 percent mark and just got whatever brand was available at my local store. That oil didn't even compare. This one coated better, easier coverage, and left the table in great shape to withstand any weather. This year, I was prepared and bought ONLY this brand and plan on sticking with the quality item so it takes care of my outdoor furniture and keeps it nice for many more years.

There was lots of bad reviews for this particular brand of teak oil and I was hesitant to order. Overall, I really liked it though. One of the biggest differences I noticed between this and other popular brands, is it’s just a tad darker and more brown than other products I have used that tended to be more golden in color. I actually prefer this slightly darker result, as it feels a bit more stylish. Nobody really has golden toned furniture much anymore. I’m sure if you’re considering this product, you’ve read through the not so flattering reviews, but it worked great for me. I applied it with a small brush and then rubbed the excess off with a rag. It looks great and gave some very old teak a new life. The fumes are pretty strong, so be sure to work in a well ventilated area.

I used this on a new teak bench and the result was wonderful. Even my wife thought it looked good, and she is the most critical judge I know.

Weir just put this on our teak bench. We had to sand a little bit first, but it is a teak bench from the 60s and looks great with this oil on it. It was easy to apply with either a brush, and then we went over it with a rag to get rid of any excess.

I purchased this for our Acadia wood chairs to protect them from the weather. It is working beautifully! I would recommend

Horrible smell to chemically. It gave me headache. I applied on my teak table and regretted it. It is not natural at all.

This product made my teak table and other wood look like new!
