I bought this in the black walnut finish and so far I really like it. It comes fairly well packaged with everything you need for installation. The screws and dry wall mounts provided looked to be of high enough quality to secure my concert ukulele. Lined up the holes for placement, made pilot holes, put in the dry wall mounts, and installed the wallhanger. Took about 3 minutes and lightly tugging on the mount seem to be very secure for far more than my ukulele weighs. The black walnut is a nice dark color and in general the wall hanger mount has a small footprint on my plain white wall. I kind of expected the body of my ukulele to rest against the wall but it actually sits a few inches from the wall. I don't mind that the body hangs away from the wall but the one slight issue I have is that the angles on the hook and my ukulele seem to hang my ukulele outward away from the wall instead of parallel to it. This is something that is minor and fixable if it bothers me enough but long term I imagine it could bow my ukulele neck a little. Either way I didn't think it was enough to deduct a star for. Overall I really like it and for the price(~$11) I can easily recommend it. Should it not hold up to the test of time, I will come back and update my review.

Delivery was quick. Simple piece easy to hang. Made well. Holds up without problems. Small enough to not take up a lot of wall room.

This is a very nice item. I chose this hanger out of all those on the market because it is made in the US by a small company and it was very apparent that thought was given to what the hanger looks like when the Ukulele is not on the hanger. I also bought a Guitar hanger. I am very pleased with both items. They are very sturdy, and the arms are curved enough to prevent the Ukulele and guitar from falling or being knocked off of the hanger. The hardwood is beautiful and the color of the padded grip material blends well with the wood color. I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 for ease of installation because to install it correctly you need a drill or impact driver and the correct driver bit for the wall anchors. A small drill bit to make pilot holes for the anchors is also helpful. I do have those tools so it was very easy to install.

I love my Ukulele and what better way to show it off then by hanging it on the wall. The price on the String Swing Home and Studio Ukulele hanger was competitive and the quality was great. Whenever you decide to hang an instrument on the wall you want to be convinced that the product is strong and durable and at the same time gentle on your instrument. The rubber and foam coating on the hook insures that the neck of the ukulele is never damaged. I also appreciated that the angle in which the hanger is mounted insures that the instrument is a good distance from the wall. This smart design removed any fears I had of the instrument getting knocked on the backside or having its beautiful finish scraped. If your looking for a strong and yet gentle way to display your ukulele then this is the product for you.

Great way to display a beloved instrument. Easy to assemble. Easy to hang. Love the outcome in our nursery.

I have 4 of these to hang a ukulele, 2 baritone ukuleles, and a mandolin on my wall. Will probably adding a guitar to the collection soon. Do keep in mind with your placement that instruments will get bonked if they are in a high-traffic area. The instruments end up hanging 2-3 inches off the wall. I used to have mine hanging by the door, but guests always hit their heads on them after putting on their shoes. I've now moved them to the wall behind the couch. I've drilled this in a variety of places, and had no problems with installation in a drywall + stud or even plaster + brick (although I of course bought the proper drill bits and anchors for that). One time after hanging up for 2 years, I unscrewed it to move apartments and it stayed stuck to the wall. I guess it stuck to the paint a little. Anyway, I bonked it with a rubber mallet and it flew right off. Re-installed at the next place. I also think both the light and dark colors are pretty. Not sure if they're both on this listing. I've had one for longer than the others.

These are easy to install. I bought them to hang up my mountain dulcimers (flat-head dulcimers, not the scroll-head dulcimers) and the hangers work o.k. for this purpose. I wish the space between the arms was just slightly wider, since I had to hang the dulcimers facing the wall; they didn't fit inside hangers with the dulcimer facing outward. But my dulcimers are for playing, not for home decor, so it's not a big deal for me. Besides that, the hangers are good quality, solid, and would work very well for ukuleles or other small-necked instruments.

The bracket on these is well designed with an angle on the lip as well as tips to keep instruments from falling. The bracket has dense padding to prevent scratches. You can lock in the width of the bracket which is not always the case on wall mounts. Instruments have a nice clearance from the wall. I'm trusting this brand with some expensive string instruments. I love the fact that it is made in the US and a family owned business.

So we are reviewing a £14 item here. The hanger was actually 1/3 of my ukulele price. Am I mad? Possibly, but the item is solid and keeps the instrument safe. The quality is exceptional compared to a few cheaper alternatives I tried. The hanger is made in the USA and has a lifetime warranty. Do not expect to have a varnish cover all the way to the edge or on the back of the block due to the possibility that it may increase the chance of the block adhering to the paint on your wall. Highly recommended.

Ho acquistato questo supporto per appendere una Strandberg e devo dire che ha superato ogni aspettativa. Il montaggio è stato semplice e una volta fissato al muro risulta stabile e super sicuro, anche con una chitarra headless come una Strandberg. La chitarra si inserisce e si rimuove facilmente e il gancio la tiene ben salda senza rischio di scivolamenti. La tiene a circa 10cm di distanza dal muro. In più, il supporto è esteticamente molto bello, con il legno che aggiunge un tocco di calore all’ambiente. Un accessorio solido e ben fatto, che fa il suo dovere in modo impeccabile. Consigliatissimo!

Really nice quality, the plugs the screws came with where not made for concrete so had to get new plugs, otherwise it was solid :)
