do you strip the corn off a cooked or uncooked cob?

I suppose you could do it off of an uncooked cob, but I usually do it after it is cooked. I think it is easier when it is cooked.

Is it easy to hold and use?

It is a little difficult to hold it on the ear of corn while trying to use a downward motion to cut the corn from the ear. I have arthritis and it was too difficult for me.

Do you use this on raw corn or cooked or both?

I have only used it on raw corn, but I wouldn't see why you couldn't use it on cooked corn. You are holding the cob when you use it, so as long as it isn't too hot, I wouldn't see why it wouldn't work.

Is this a unitasker? Any other uses besides corn?

It's a ZERO tasker. It won't even shuck corn.
