My scissors-type hair tweezers finally gave it up: The cheap rivet disintegrated and left behind two useless pieces of metal. Do I go the cheap route and buy more of same? Shopping Amazon for a replacement, I saw this offering. Why should I spend 5-6 times as much for a product that just pulls hair out of various spots on my head? Then I remembered my days working in Sears warehouse and getting an employee discount on Craftsman tools. Others bought tool sets at K-Mart: cheap metal that did the same thing—until disintegrating. They liked their K-Mart tool sets so much they bought them again and again, heh. Meanwhile, my Craftsman tools are still here. Seki hair tweezers have the same quality of materials and construction as those Craftsman tools: you get what you pay for. I like the rounded ends which means these tweezers don’t poke sensitive skin. Lining up the old, tiny tweezer ends to grab an errant hair took many repetitive-strain movements to succeed. The relatively large spring-loaded end allows for greater first-time success, and the spring provides greater grabbing capability than flat tweezer surfaces. These tweezers do more than removing recalcitrant ear hairs that survived a tortuous series of electrolysis. There are a few rebellious beard hairs that exit their follicles and immediately make a 90° turn to lay along the skin, escaping my electric shaver; they lose to these Seki tweezers which also prevent my nose from looking like a two-car garage full of brush. These are likely the last hair tweezers I’ll have to buy, making them an economical investment compared to the hassle and expense of repeatedly buying cheaper products.
