Fit my 93 f150 perfectly. Actually the one I had on before must have been defective it just spun and spun. New one made the truck real happy.

Fits 2001 f150 4.6L but claims it won't fit.
There are multiple types of engines in ford vehicles. Determine the type of your engine by looking at the 8th letter in your VIN prior to ordering and it will assist you in proper fit. We have a 2001 f-150 4x4 with a 4.6L Windsor engine. This cap said it would not fit, however we had bought 2 prior that claimed to fit and didn't. Do investigative work. This cap fit! Problem solved!
