Anti Slip Regular

This pad has saved our rowing. I was very skeptical of seat pads for rowing machines (never part of our erg routine back when I rowed in high school!) but after we bought a rowing machine and returned to using it regularly after our long hiatus, we both started noticing significant tailbone soreness that couldn’t be fixed by adjusting foot placement, etc. Luckily this seat pad was here to save our aging-millennial day. It adds a lot of comfort with remarkably little thickness (you can see how flat it is in the photo—essential for not changing correct rowing posture). Also perfectly grippy—it stays put with a great, unobtrusive-looking fit to the seat of the classic concept 2 model D. Works for a variety of body types, from 6’1” and bony like my husband to petite and better-cushioned like myself. :) The grippy seat ripples (on both sides) do attract lint like nobody’s business, though. If you care, ready the lint rollers.

I have had this for a month now and use it regularly (4-5x/week). Prior to purchasing, I literally had scabs from rubbing my butt raw on the hard Concept 2 seat. After a month, no more scabby butt! It's just as the other reviews state - thin, grippy and comfortable. It's also easy enough to carry to the gym - I just lay it on the seat and pick it up when I'm done. I was curious if the padding would be enough since it's so thin, but it works. The only con - it's smelly. After a month the smell still hasn't dissipated (sort of a petroleum smell). But it works. Buy it - your butt will thank you.

As another reviewer noted, they have both the regular cushion and the XL cushion, he advised going with the XL. I thought what difference can extra 1/8” thickness make, and ordered the regular pad for our second rower despite using the XL on first rower. Now we have both and can vouch the regular cushion at 1/2” thick is not as comfortable as the XL’s 5/8” cushion. That seemingly small 1/8” difference between the pads is huge. For short 2K rows, the regular is suitable but for longer distance rows, you want to be sitting on the XL. This is a quality product and I like that the regular cushion doesn’t drape over the C2 seat and is better than no cushion at all.

Low profile but yet offers a bit of cushioning. My bum still aches after about 45 minutes on the rower but it does seem to help a bit. It stays in place and there is no slippage. I have been using it for about 2 months and seems to have held up well. I combine it with a memory foam cushion sometimes, but that thing is about 10-15 times as thick

For the past 5 years I did not use a pad. However, this past year, I increased both the duration & frequency of my time on the rower. Going past 30 mins became a real pain in the ..., well you know. Needing to find a solution, i happily came across this one. Not too thick and not too thin. Just right. During my workout, I still adjust my seating placement as needed, but it makes doing a 60 min row much more endurable.

It stays put, but is very thin. It does not offer much cushion, but it is better than the hard seat with no pad. It stays put well

Overall the pad works well and does not slip, which has happened with other pads in the past. The pad is a little on the thin side and I did experience discomfort on longer rows. The construction is good and works as advertised.

First, it really doesn't slip. I had been using a thicker cushion that strapped on, and it tended to loosen up - this one stays in place. It's also thinner than the last cushion I tried, but it's not any less comfortable for working out. It still provides enough padding/a better surface so my bum doesn't get sore when I work out. I also found that the thicker cushion put me in a slightly weird position with respect to the moving parts of the machine; the thinner one feels more natural.

No problems postage etc. Item arrived on time. As for the quality of the padding, it is garbage. Not much padding at all. It hurts after no time. It almost hurts less to row without it. I recommend not buying it. Spend the extra money and go for quality.

The Anti Slip Rowing Machine Cushion has been a fantastic addition to my workout routine! The great cushioning it provides is a real game-changer, allowing me to row for much longer periods without discomfort. I used to experience significant buttock pain during extended sessions, but with this cushion, that’s a thing of the past. The design effectively supports and alleviates pressure, making workouts much more enjoyable. Additionally, the anti-slip feature ensures the cushion stays firmly in place throughout the session, eliminating any distractions or adjustments. It's evident that a lot of thought went into its design to make it not only comfortable but also functional and durable. Will fit all seats For anyone who spends a good amount of time rowing, this cushion is truly worth the investment. It enhances the overall rowing experience and makes it much easier to focus on performance rather than discomfort. Highly recommended!
