We are a family who like a varied diet but we don't want to be plant based or vegetarian. This book has a variety of beef, chicken, pork, fish, shelfish and veggie dishes. Its set out into helpful meal chapters. We do love fresh, varied, quick, easy, tasty meals and the fact these recipes are healthy is a bonus because you certainly don't feel like you are missing out. If you are like us you'll love this book! I follow Joe on Instagram to encourage me to workout but I found I was using his food posts for meal inspiration. I was cooking more and more of his new recipes and the family loved them (we don't have anything low fat in the house lol) so I pre-ordered this book. In our opinion this is the best of his books yet. Personally, we love how its a family cookbook - it even has chocolate in it! 😉

Good receipes
Nothing complicated ! Tastes good !

When I read some of the reviews saying this was a vegetarian book I had to check I had the same book!! We are a family who like a varied diet but we don't want to be plant based or vegetarian. His best book yet! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Just on opening this book I wanted to make everything! There’s a fab few pages of what you should have in your kitchen etc and then it’s broken down really well into categories like breakfasts, snacks, comfort foods, quick hearty meals, desserts etc. Everything looks delicious and relatively simple and the variety is immense! There are all different meats, fish, and plenty vegetarian meals too, mixed with smoothies, snacks…and most of the dishes could easily be altered if wanted. I was shocked to see such negative views about the vegetarian meals. My 2 daughters and I are vegetarian but we can alter meat dishes to suit us so there is no reason why those who prefer meat could not add some meat or fish to their meals if wanted. Also vegetarian meals are highly recommended as part of a healthy diet and meat doesn’t have to be included at every single meal. The family pictures are lovely and they have already inspired my 2 young daughters to make and try the dishes when they see Joe’s little ones eating the foods. Planning to start cooking up a storm with it with my girls this weekend! It’s a must have along with his others, but this one is already my favourite!

Great recipes but did I buy second hand without realising
Great book with some lovely recipes that the whole family can enjoy. I'm doing the Joe Wicks fitness plan so this helps stay on track. My only gripe, sadly, is the state of the book itself after literally 2 openings of it..the hardback cover has mostly come away at the sides. I bought this on Prime Day for £8 so no great shakes, but still, as a book lover this felt a bit pants to see a book damaged in this way seemingly without reason. No reflection on Joe however, who can literally do no wrong in my eyes, just a shame the books is a bit tatty when bought new. I would return on principal if it'd been bought at full price. Still a great recipe book for all home cooks wanting tasty, nutritious and healthy recipes.
