Dirty, damaged and printing issues
2 issues 1. Book arrived dirty and damaged as it wasn't shrinkwrapped. 2. Book has lot of printing errors with certain words missing characters.

One of the best book on the topic and perhaps the best for students
This is one of the best books on structural dynamics. I already have 3rd edition of the book in British units but I felt I need SI unit edition also. Only after going through the book I realised, it is much more enlarged and includes many more additional topics. However while enlarging the book editorial team hasn’t corrected the cross references to the previously discussed topics/examples in this edition, which were spot on, in 3rd edition of the book. Sometimes I have to correct these references using 3rd edition to make it more meaningful. That simply means references are not corrected from the third edition of the book when Dr. Chopra was still actively involved with the book.

typing errors throughout the book
letters "fi" and "fl" are missing in all words throughout the book (soft cover). Amazon should fix this issue, by sending books with no typing errors. I will ask for a proper book or for a refund

Recomendo o livro.
Livro excelente, o conteúdo é muito claro e didático. Uma das poucas vezes que a Amazon entregou um livro sem antes amasea-lo.

Un signor libro sull'analisi dinamica delle strutture!
Eccelente libro per lo studio della risposta sismica delle strutture. Il testo e scritto in inglese, non ce n'è una versione tradotta in italiano, ma il linguaggio utilizzato è semplice e comprensibile anche per chi ha non è ferrato con la lingua. Questa è l'ultima edizione, la quinta, che riporta i dati espressi nell'unità di misura del SI a differenza delle precedenti versioni che invece riportano le unità di misura del sistema Americano. Consiglio fortemente l'acquisto a qualunque ingegnere civile, soprattutto a quelli che approcceranno allo studio della risposta sismica. Le argomentazioni del testo sono complete ed estremamente dettagliate e accompagnate da esempi svolti ed esercizi da svolgere per il consolidamento dell'argomento studiato.
