It's pricey for 5 small bits of plastic, but this worked extremely well for us so was a worthwhile investment. Our 21-month old went from using a dummy for every sleep to completely dummy-free within about 12 days with this set. There was no fuss - she just gradually lost interest and wasn't at all bothered when we took the final dummy away. We had tried previously going cold turkey which just didn't work as she screamed the house down and we ended up caving and giving it back to her. This felt like a much gentler approach. I would definitely recommend to others.

This was super. It was a very low effort way to get my 20 month old off the dummy. There was a small bit of fuss when switching from one to the next but no tears, just a little confusion. It took us 10 days in total to completely wean our dummy obsessed LO off. I’ve recommended this to all my friends with babies

I had high hopes, especially after reading that this Paci system would likely be accepted by a toddler used to a Philips Avent dummy. Unfortunately my 22 month old rejected the Paci right away. We tried several times. The teet is a different shape to the Philips. Also, the system "just" seems to be a series of dummies with larger and larger bits cut off.

We got to stage 2 and no longer needed it. We use tomme tippie dummies. Please note my son only had them for naps and bedtime. Did not show interest after 4 nights and would just throw it. I do however think we could have just snipped at a dummy each night a little further for a fraction of this price.

These work a treat, we did it over a month when our child was around 11 months with a dummy used for a week and then onto the next so it wasn’t full on cold-turkey. A few sleepless nights between each but nothing too drastic, weaned off fine. Expensive but defo worth it. Saves money over time when not buying more dummies, goodbye dummy parties etc…

As described. Unfortunately didn’t work for us as the hole didn’t bother my LO at all, but would definitely work for other children

I never leave reviews but this product has blown me away. I had seen this advertised on YouTube when searching about weaning my son off the dummy. You can’t buy this product in the stores in England so I begrudged paying the price due to fears it wouldn’t work. His obsession with the dummy had become too much and he would have it in all the time if we let him. Most nights he would sleep with one in his mouth and one in his hand, interchanging throughout. Sleep was disturbed and his speech was starting to change as he was learning words with the dummy in. I didn’t want to go cold turkey so bought this kit and within a week we were free (and remain free) from the dummy. Our normal dummies were ones that they said weren’t compatible but I still tried and it worked perfect. I hid all the dummies one morning and showed him his new special 1 dummy, after a couple of days we switched to 2 and repeat. By 3, he was barely using but held it at night and with 4 we managed 36 hours without it so I thought let’s get rid. We’re a week in and we’ve not looked back. He sometimes asks but he’s easily comforted. His sleep is better and his speech has developed even more. Well worth the investment if you’re looking for a gradual way to wean off!

Si j’avais écrit un commentaire lorsque j’ai reçu l’article alors il aurait été négatif, mon fils ayant catégoriquement rejeté cette tétine … Mais je pense qu’il faut garder à l’esprit que l’enfant doit aussi être prêt à se séparer de sa tétine pour que ça fonctionne. Nous avons donc laissé la tétine 1 dans le lit avec ses autres tétines en se disant que peut-être de lui même il y reviendrait. Quelques mois plus tard, mon fils s’est mis à dire qu’il devenait un grand et qu’il n’avait plus besoin de tétine mais la réalité était quand même différente car malgré tout il continuait de la prendre pour dormir puis on a discuter de l’arrêt de la tétine en lui expliquant que si il se sentait assez grand pour arrêter cette fameuse tétine 1 allait l’aider … de lui-même quelques jours plus tard il l’a adopté ! Comme il mâche ses tétines ! En quelques jours il l’a tué alors naturellement on est passé à la tétine 2, puis quelques jours plus tard on a mis la 2 sous l’oreiller et on lui a proposé la 3 qu’il a acceptée de suite … je pense que d’ici quelques jours la tétine sera définitivement un souvenir et ces tétines l’auront bien aidé mais il a fallu attendre qu’il ses sente prêt à franchir le pas. Cela nous aura éviter des méthodes plus dur comme le forcer du jour au lendemain à dormir sans tétine … Je suis donc très satisfaite car même si ça a pris un peu de temps on a pu y arriver en douceur …

Just sharing my experience with this product. It may not be the same for everyone but worth a try. Upon the advice of my SIL, I had reluctantly got my son onto the pacifier since he had a short NICU stay after birth (my other kids didn't take pacifier). When he turned 2 years old, I could see his upper front teeth getting damaged due to the pacifier usage. Day and night. My first attempt using this product was at his age of 2, but he threw massive fits (including banging his head on mine or the walls), so I couldn't continue then. However, at the age of 2.5, I tried it again after speaking to him that the pacifier is not a good thing and is meant for little babies. It's been 3 days now and we've used only the first pacifier marked 1. My son has already given up using it during the day and last night (the 3rd night of using this), we didn't use any pacifier even from the weaning set. Although he asked for it once, but with cuddles and rocking he quickly calmed down and went back to sleep. So, for us it worked when the timing was right. Thank you Frida Baby.

Very helpful in training my baby to stop using a pacifier. The transition was gentle and much less stressful, with less fussiness and fewer night wake-ups compared to previous attempts. My baby adjusted naturally over time and learned better self-soothing habits. I would recommend this to parents looking for an effective and baby-friendly way to wean off the pacifier.
