Is one flat full scoop one tsp, I know it's more than a 1/4 tsp....

Yes - it is actually 6 quarter teaspoons. The bottler could not find the proper, mini-scoop and used a larger one. Our future batch will have a different labe that recommends 1/2 scoop which is still a larger amount. The amount chosen on the label was arbitrary. Most of our customers take one full scoop or more a day once their bowel is used to it. The magnesium could cause loose stools to someone who took too much too quick.

Can you mix with hot herbal tea?

pH Adjust mixes well in many liquids, including coffee and teas. Test a small amount in the hot tea you plan to drink to see if the taste appeals to you. pH Adjust is well known to mix easily into coffee to make it alkaline. Just add a small amount (1/4 to 1/2 tsp) to warm coffee and stir. The HPDI Ketogenic coffee recipe calls for fresh organic coffee, organic or non-GMO grass-fed butter (unsalted), and coconut oil or coconut MCT oil. Mix well in a blender or use a hand blender. Like using it in regular coffee, pH Adjust is an extra ingredient you can add (before or after blending) to Ketogenic coffee to rapidly increase its pH level, thereby making an alkaline drink you can enjoy for good health.

Can I make this into capsules?

Certainly. You can use whatever size of capsule works best for you and use a 1/4 teaspoon of pH Adjust, the recommended starting doasage, as the payload.
