Pretty nice safe for the money. I imagine like any safe in this price range, its not stopping a real burglar with time but any quick theif, or roomates with curious fingers definitely arent getting in. The code was simple to program (i only did one) and worked everytime after initial setup. No issues with keys or anything weird. Moderately weighted. I was able to pick it up and move it around but I couldnt have run anywhere with it either. Inside is alot bigger then I pictured. Shelf is pretty secure. The reset button is small and recessed into the door on the one I got. If I had to list some cons, the plastic door on the interior lock box is pretty lame. I intended to reline it myself based off reviews but my liner isnt too bad really. Minus the lockbox liner that was literally just folded and in the box, the liner is pretty smooth and attached. For me its the smell. Its probably the strogest chemical smell Ive been around in a long time. Legitimately made me a little nauseous during setup. (Im airing it out now)Not bad just really really strong like polyurethane or something. The emergeny power box does feel pretty flimsy but dont really intend needing it. And lastly the light is an absolute novelty which is fine because it runs off the main batteries and I dont really particularly want them powering anything other then the lock. So there is the need to buy a separate light if you want light that lights up your contents. Overall for the cost it appears to be a great deal. I literally just set it up and transfered stuff into it. On initial setup Im pretty satisfied though. Long term waits to be seen.

There was some shipping damage, mostly from Amazon. The top of the safe at the corner was cracked, the plastic covering for the cubby at the top was popped off and with some snaps cracked off, and the bottom shelf at an incline under the support. Given how dented the bottom was from the safe's feet, it was likely slammed down at least once. Given that the top cracked, I would recomend people not to put heavy things on top of it. Good parts: Two layers of metal around the safe. Has lip around door to avoid easy reset of password. Needs two keys to open without code. Has a backup power option if your battery dies. Cubby hole under bottom shelf. Bad parts: Tubular key as an emergency key. These get broken in a couple seconds. It would be better to get something more secure for that. Plastic door for top cubby. No idea why, everything aside from the door has metal. Maybe you can make a metal door but it is just really weird. Light is not very good and you can't move it more than a half foot away from where it sits. I would recommend getting a magnetic touch light and putting it on the ceiling of the safe as there is a decent amount of room for it. It weighs very little. I could easily pick it up without much trouble but it is not lightweight. Just not very heavy. Overall: This is a good safe for the size and money. It covers for its weaknesses surprisingly well for what the usual companies do for this price range/size. Do not get this if you need a very secure safe. It can be smashed into relatively easily if people wanted to in around 10 minutes with a hammer and prybar. A smaller, thicker safe with better weldings for the same price would do much better. For storing guns or jewelery, I would recommend using the bottom cubby, as kids and those you know could get into the top part easily. That is, if they have access to the general safe. Compact rifles (without a magazine, folded, quick disconnects, etc...) and many handguns will be able to fit in it with plenty of room for other stuff. If you need a large safe that is decently secure, this is a very good option for you.

I honestly do know understand why the good reviews about this cheap safe. Now only I was send the wrong colour. It is also made with very cheap material , not sturdy and master key is made with cheap plastic. Oh my god !!! It takes me 10 tries to open the safe each time !!! Unbelievably cheap quality.

This is a good safe for the price. Good workmanship and quite roomy. Advantages: Two ways to lock and unlock - key pad only or key pad + physical secondary key. An emergency key in conjunction with the secondary key to unlock the safe in case the key pad malfunction or out of battery. I tried out all three ways to unlock multiple times. They work faultlessly. The default key code can be reprogrammed to become Master code. An additional key code can be programmed. Two sets of physical keys. Very roomy with a lockable small storage, a shelf and a hidden bottom storage. Big enough to store stacks of documents, passports, some cash, a lab top, iPad, and couple of pistols. A small l. E.D. light after the door is open. The door locking bolts are massive. 3 invalid key entries activate an alarm. I tried it out. It worked well. I drilled two holes on the bottom of the safe, and bolted it to the floor. Disadvantages: It is not fire proof nor water proof. The metal walls are not armor enough to resist drilling. Overall, my wife and I love this safe. Hope it will provide us years of usage.

I have owned the safe for about a week now, I am happy with my purchase so far but will update the review if any issues arise later on. Reading some of the negative reviews on here, I was worried but so far I am satisfied by the safe. The safe arrived in a sturdy box with foam cushioning protecting the front panel. The box had some holes in it, but the safe itself appears to be undamaged. My one big negative so far is the use of cheap plastic, especially on the silver trim of the shelves, which both came cracked (see picture). Fortunately, the trim pieces were easy to remove, and I feel the shelves looks better without them (see photo without the trim pieces) . I contacted Tigerking support and they were quick to offer me a partial refund due to the broken shelves. The other place where there is cheap plastic is on the round gold dial used to open the safe itself, I wish this part was made out of metal, as it would give it a much better feel when opening/closing the safe. Other than the cheap plastics, I love everything else about the safe. There is plenty of room inside, and there is even a false floor which can be lifted to show an additional hidden storage compartment. The shelves can be taken out if more room is needed. The safe also has mounting holes on the back for attaching it to the wall. As far as operating the safe, I found this super easy. The instructions are very clear on how to set up the codes and operate the safe. There are 2 key holes, the left one is for the regular key and the right is for the master key. The master key allows you to bypass having to use the keypad, it basically does what the keypad does. The main key (big silver and blue one) allows a secondary lock on the safe, this key must be unlocked before you can use the keypad or master key to open the safe. Thankfully, this key does not need to be inserted and can remain unlocked, so if you want to use just the keypad/master key to unlock, you have that option. There is also an alarm which goes off if 3 incorrect codes are entered (this is automatically enabled), or the safe is moved (this needs to be manually activated every time you lock the safe, but hitting the * button) Overall a very cool safe for the price.
